Merry Christmas Morning, MMC!!!! We are just getting ready to ear some breakfast before heading up to my sister's house. It's going to be a busy morning trying to open gifts, cooking lunch, and then eating all before my BIL picks up my niece's at noon. It should be fun though. I hope everyone enjoys the most wonderful day of the year!!!!

Good Morning, Folks and a Very Merry Merry Christmas to one and all throughout the MMC Nation!
Yes, we have made it back again.
As Lawrence Welk would have said, "Wunerful Wunerful!"
Now for Crown's long-awaited one week vacation from countdowning.
It comes at a good time too, as we are planning a 4-day visit to see cousins who moved to Alabama a few years ago and whos new house we have not seen.
We are leaving Saturday morning early and returning Tuesday, so I will be back in time to launch the Christmas Countdown 2015 thread.
Which of course, brings me to the annual sad part.
This thread will be locked down promptly at the stroke of midnight following the 31st, to be immediately succeeded by the New Year's Countdown thread.
(Sad, but also exciting!)
Still MORE rain yesterday.
Enough already. We have developed ponds in both our front and back yards and we lost power twice yesterday.
Hopefully, today will be drier.
This morning has started off at a warm 51 degrees, here.

quiet here so far, when I pick up my daughter from work the gift opening begins and we have breakfast.

Merry Christmas friends!
It has been a busy past 2 months - good and bad. Everyone getting ill including myself before Thanksgiving, then going out of town for 2 weeks, returned then I got sick and still trying to get over it. No matter what, we celebrated with family last night and had a wonderful time!
Today will be a peaceful day starting with a big breakfast, Snow-in-Texas and I will exchange our presents then off to work we go to feed the critters but we are closed to the public - Snow-in-Texas will join me at work to help me like he always does. Then we might go to the lake to feed the ducks and take a walk like we did last year. It is suppose to get warm today. After that have lunch, relax, watch Christmas movies and maybe play some board games (do those still exist?) Ha ha!
Maybe after the first of the year I will be with you all more! I miss my visits here.
