Good Afternoon all. I'm off to a good start so far today, I got the grass cut, tractor cleaned and installed a new thermostat for the Heat Pump upstairs. I got a couple of more things that I want to do outside and then I'll be inside for the rest of the day.

I was just taking a peak at the Intellicast Radar and it looks like there is a big batch of storms that are in Kentucky, West Virginia and they are heading North East...This afternoon may get a little sporty around here....

Good Saturday afternoon, my Christmas friends!

Jacob's band played a gig at another nursing home today LOL. I think word is going around the nursing home circuit about the band haha!

Elizabeth's ballet recital is tonight, and I'm looking forward to that.

I helped my brother carry off at least 150 old tires to the landfill this morning. They offered a 4 hour window for tires to be brought in without charge. They were all half filled with old, yucky water, and it got all over me. But we got it done!

All man you sure are right about that, my grandfather had some of those behind his garage.....Phewwww, did that water inside them stink. But then again, in the back of my mind, I was wondering if that was really water or a Budweiser byproduct!!!!

Triscuit is now selling a toasted coconut and sea salt flavor. Mr. got a box for me, but it sounded so awful I wouldn't even try 'em. Mr. sampled one and said I was right---it was terrible. Who dreams up these combos? Never mind, I know. Marketing departments!

The Mrs. had to get up and work this morning, so that woke me up and I was not able to fall back asleep because my mind started thinking about what things I was going to do today.

I would also like to give some prayers out this morning to the poor neighbors of mine, I did not know them. Apparently they were evicted out of their home yesterday. I got home yesterday myself and I saw that all of the entire contents of their house was on their front lawn and driveway, with letters stuck on the doors and windows and a lockbox on the house.

Lisa did some research last night on their home on realtor.com and it was purchased in 2006 (before the housing market crash) for 849,900 and she saw that a bank purchased it this past January for 549,900...I feel really bad for them, their children, it's a terrible thing to of happened....

On a brighter note, the renovation work on my daughters bathroom is proceeding along at a furious pace. The demo is completed, rough-in's done, concrete board installed, tile work is all in and grouted, drywall work will be today.

The basement is moving along, I should have all of the plywood installed today and then time to install the shelving units....I like doing this kind of stuff....cheesy

So sad, in this day and age, that they can still literally throw people out onto the street. How awful to be locked out, with all your possessions stacked on the lawn and driveway!

Glad to hear your household projects are not only proceeding well, but giving you pleasure!
