Christmas Countdown - 2015

Good Tuesday morning, my Christmas friends!

I went to a T-ball game yesterday. Nancy's niece's 4 year old had his last game of the season, and they all got trophies. He was so proud! We took him to McDonald's for a milkshake afterwards. It was a nice evening.

Nancy's taking Jacob to his band practice this evening, so I hope to get to Jim's shop & work on the Camaro. I hope, anyway. I still haven't received my marching orders from Nancy.

Good Morning, MMC!!! It's going to be a beautiful day with a high of 65 today!!! Right now we are sitting at 51 and its perfect!!! I'm going to try and get some work down around the apartment today and get ready to go to a job fair downtown tomorrow. Other than that, not really much going on. I hope everyone is having a GREAT DAY!!!!

Gushing parents are the best! I think I'm the president of the gushing parents club...no wait..you can be since you are a Mayor. LOL.

I hope those kids gush about you as much as you do them. I was at an honor's banquet tonight where probably 30% of the kids didn't have a parent there. Sad.

What?? That IS sad! The honors will mean so much less if a proud parent isn't there to share the accomplishment. What could be so important as to keep a parent away from being publicly proud of their child? A few might have something unavoidable to keep them from coming, but a third of them?

Yep, it is everywhere. Salty & sweet does taste good together, but they are going nuts with it right now.

I think the marketing gurus are trying to promote sea salt/caramel into the summer version of pumpkin spice, or something. Caramel, yes---boy, do I miss the caramel frosting my mom and grandma used to make! But leave the salt out of it!

It's freezing in the shop. They have the overhead doors & open. Brrrr! I'm glad I don't have to go out there much!! I may need to put jeans on when I go for lunch!
