Graduation is in the books! Whew....

The last three weeks has been so hectic....looking for a slow ride, 3 day holiday weekend....

I see naps, a grill, and some playtime with Bambina in my future....heck, I might take Doc on a date...

I know I'm very, very behind here - a week or so, but I wanted to reply to your post, because I'm hoping I can help you all. Last year, we purchased Ella a tick collar at the vet. It's by the brand Seresto. It's a 100% guaranteed. We haven't even found one tick on her since and she used to get several a year. Ever since this new product, I'm no longer using Frontline. This product is great. You can order it offline if you can't get it at your vet. It's for fleas and other bugs too and the dog can wear it for 8 months at time. Your dog can get it wet and wear it all the time. I'll never buy another product, unless they come out with something better. Just thought I would give you guys that suggestion and maybe a little peace of mind - these are selling like crazy back here.

I have never heard of that. Thanks for sharing. Knocking on wood here - we don't have much of a tick problem here. None of our dogs (or people that I know of) have had a tick. Knocking again...

Good morning gang!! Doesn’t look like I’m going to have a chance to get totally caught up today! I’m close, but it’s been a crazy morning here! But it’s almost quitting time…Holiday weekend. YES! We don’t have any major plans for the weekend other than heading to the lake & we have a wedding at the lake tomorrow. We can go by pontoon (weather permitting) Other than that we will be hanging at the marina – lots of food, drinks, & bonfires are in our future (or that’s the plan anyway!)

Good Morning, Fantastic Friday Friends.

Ah, yes!
It's Weekend Eve once again.
Time to take a deep breath........and check to see just how close we are to Christmas 2015.

Well, OK then:
Days to the Season: 175
Days to Christmas Day: 217

Now UNDER 2 1/2 weeks left until we reach the 200-day Christmas Day Milestone and the commencement of a double-100's level count.
(The year is truly racing by!)



A bit cooler yesterday, and it came with some rain.
Good to get that out of the way, however, as we will be enjoying a dry day today for traveling to the coast to get our cottage ready for Rental Season 2015.
This morning has started off at a coolish 56 degrees here.


Well, no response yet to my ********** TRAVEL ALERT! **********.
Hopefully, someone (or someones) will step forward to avoid a lapse!


Regardless, I will see you here bright and early Tuesday morning.

Well I had to make some tough choices this morning. With the savings account dwindling, something had to go. So I turned off Comcast. So no more cable, internet, or home phone. With no internet, it's going to be hard to get here but I will check in as often as I can. Take care everyone!!!!

Has nobody volunteered yet? I can do it. I just cannot guarantee that it will be as early as I would prefer... No later than 11am though. Can someone confirm that there has yet to be a volunteer? Snowflake?!

Good afternoon, everyone!

A busy week is in the books. The weekend is here. And, it has made way for a busy weekend! Judging by the posts here, lots of people have been busy, too!

At the moment, I am on a Via Rail train to Montreal. We are celebrating my friend's bachelor party this weekend. He went to university in Montreal, so he will be very familiar with the area and I am sure he will enjoy reenacting many of his escapades of a decade ago. Tomorrow is also his 30th birthday. I'm sure he'll enjoy a few extra special celebrations we have for him tomorrow night, too!

Today was a fairly crazy day at school. I had half of a break, but a bit of that was spent trying to switch a class around for another substitute teacher. Overall, it was a great day and week of work - all at Russell. No complaints from me!

Well, I am going to check and verify if anyone has indeed volunteered to countdown for us. If not, I'll be seeing you all tomorrow morning from beautiful Montreal!

I wasn't able to do so early, because my family is coming to town. But I would have stepped up if need be, but like you it would've been later in the day....but it looks like we are good to go!
