Good morning MMC! Happy Friday! We had rain already this morning! Gracie was out standing in it! She doesn't care! Crazy dog! Hopefully that is it for the weekend! It can rain again overnight Sunday! cheesy

As I mentioned I got almost everything done that I wanted to last night. I made a Mexican dip for tonight & I'm going to try making scrambled eggs in the crock pot for tomorrow morning. Has anybody tried this? I got some ham out of the freezer & I'm making smoked sausage, taters & carrots. Hopefully that will be enough for everybody ~ should be enough for both Saturday & Sunday morning breakfast! :lol: Geez! We may be having overnight guests at our trailer this weekend too. Our neighbors who are getting the new camper/they are pouring patio this weekend ~ they are homeless! Lol! So they need a place to stay. Several of us have offered, but I'm going to go do a little cleaning out there this afternoon anyway just incase.

Hi everyone. I just logged into the condo's wifi and here I am checking in from Orlando Florida... Yes, we survived the 900+ mile trip and made it here in record time. And soooooo, let the vacation begins....

900 miles?!? Wow, that's a LOT of driving! Assuming you came down I-95 through GA, you passed within 45 miles of Bellville. Swing through on your way back, and there's a glass of sweet tea in your future!

Hi everyone, I haven't been here in a very long time. I really want to come back and start being a part of things here. Even though I don't post often, I do stalk the boards (as any good cricket will do). But I do plan on posting more. I really NEED a little Christmas!

TGIF, my Christmas friends!

We were in nearby Statesboro with Jacob's band practice again yesterday. Statesboro has become our second home, since that's where Elizabeth take dance, too. It's about 25 miles from home, and we go almost everyday. I need a Prius or something!

Jacob's band is putting on a concert Sunday evening, so that'll be fun. I'm hoping to get some Camaro time in tomorrow. Maybe Nancy agrees? We'll see.

Your weekend sounds fun, especially the food! I've never tried to cook eggs in the crockpot before. How do you do that? We have made omelets by mixing peppers, onions, and crumbled sausage & bacon with whipped eggs and pouring the mixture into ziplock bags, then boiling the bags. It was a fun experiment, and it worked pretty good. Everyone mixed their marked ziplock bags with the ingredients they wanted, and dropped them in the water. Sorta cool for a change.

Your weekend sounds fun, especially the food! I've never tried to cook eggs in the crockpot before. How do you do that? I forgot about the Ziploc bag trick! We did that once at the lake & it worked well! We'll have to do that again! I have made an egg casserole in the crockpot before (hash browns, eggs, sausage or bacon, cheese, onion) - you cook it overnight & it's ready when you wake up. But I'm going to try just eggs, cheese, milk & cream of mushroom soup (my neighbor swears crm of mush soup in scrambled eggs is delish??) I might throw in some diced tomatoes &/or mushrooms ~ the recipes I have seen say to cook it on low for 3 1/2 - 4 hours. I dunno? If it doesn't turn out, there's plenty of other food I guess! cheesy

Good Morning, MMC!!!!! Another warm and humid day here with a high of 87 predicted for later today. Yuck!!!! It looks like most of the storms will hold off until later tonight though at least which is a good thing since my sister is having a garage sale. She went yesterday for her final divorce hearing and is moving out of the house and in with my aunt next weekend so I need her to sale a lot of stuff so I don't have to move it all. I don't have to much planned for today. I need to run to the grocery at some point and that's about it. Then it will be back home to try and stay cool. I hope everyone is having a GREAT DAY!!!!!!!!!!!
