Christmas Countdown - 2015

The numbers, without further delay:
Days to the Season: 134
Days to Christmas Day: 176

And our next Milestone?
Well, tear open the shutters and throw up the sash, it's the TWO-THIRDS marker to the Season and we are practically down to SINGLE DIGITS to it!
July 14.
(Holy Moly!)


A bit more humid and warm yesterday but really not bad at all for July 1.
Today should be OK too, with perhaps a better chance of rain.
Right now, we are at 76 degrees here in our little quadrant of the MMC Nation.

Good morning! I'm semi out-of-it at the moment, due to lack of sleep. Today is day 4 of this work week and I have 54 hours in already, not counting today, tonight, tomorrow, etc.... I'm on pace to put in about 80 hours this week.....

Next week looks like it will be the same as well! I'm struggling to keep up with everything at work and at home, to much, to fast happening all at once. Not enough of me to go around at the moment. So pardon me if I'm not here much nor sound too chipper, I just don't have it in me at the moment.

Well, back to the grind stone.....

Also some sad news. I wasn't able to post this because it was just too hard at the time. My cat Boots has passed. She was very sick and lived to be 16 years old. I miss her so.

I am leaving her toys out for the time being. Makes me feel like she is still around. Eventually we will get another cat, but not for a while.

It's so hard to say goodbye to a beloved pet. I'm very sorry for your loss.

Keeping you in my thoughts, take care of yourself. Hope things slow down soon.
 
Good morning everyone. Woke up with a headache so I'm moving slow today. I have a lot to do before the 4th so I hope it goes away soon. I definitely want to get my food shopping over with at some point. I have to do some cleaning and I'll start prepping and cooking tomorrow. The weather looks beautiful this weekend, so happy about that. I hope everyone is well and has a nice day!

Be careful out there, being so tired. I hope you can recharge even a bit over the weekend.
 
Dentist and car service today ... Then the rest of the day is MINE. Dentist is over, waiting on the car now. I'm craving some milk-chocolate-covered macadamia nuts as an early birthday treat, so I may check a couple of places for some. The weather is supposed to be mostly to partly sunny with highs in the low 80s---just about perfect for a holiday weekend.
