Happy Pines Day, MMC!!!!!!! It's going to be another rainy day here in Central Indy. Yesterday we got 4 1/2 inches in just 5 hours. There was a lot of flooding but it went down fairly quickly after the rain stopped. It sounds like we are only going to get 2 inches today. I have to babysit today and then after the crazy people leave, I have to scrub the kitchen and run the sweeper. I've been trying to get my niece's to do it for me but so far, they aren't going for it. I hope everyone is having a GREAT DAY!!!!!!

Good morning MMC! Happy Hump/Pines Day! 
It's cold outside this morning! I walked out of our trailer at the lake this morning & was hit with a cold mist & wind! I wore long sleeves & capri's to work today. CRAZY! It's July 8th!

I stayed at the lake last night. Our friends got their new trailer & she is off work on Wednesdays, so she wanted to stay. It can get kind of creepy staying at the marina when you are the ONLY one there, so I told her I would stay out there too. It's only 10 minutes from work/home for me so I like to stay through the week sometimes. Gracie was our protector! :wink: Anyway, we watched Christmas on Hallmark & went out for a late supper. Jim was out there trying to get their Dish hooked up but then he decided not to stay. It was SO WET out there again after 1 1/2" of rain yesterday so Jim picked up some new cute rain boots for me! I love them. I'm tired of walking through puddles! Lol! Hopefully we won't need to use them much more! Gracie was a crazy girl ~ she wouldn't let my friend alone. Kept squeaking her toys in her face. LOL! Gracie's BACK...(hopefully for good) now she needs to pass her test on Friday!! xx

So sad this morning. One of my daughters friends died in a car accident yesterday, her car was hit by a box truck and she died instantly. She was only 19. Holding my girls a little bit tighter today. You just never know what could happen.
I'll be heading out in a little bit, Hallmark called to tell me my membership ornaments came in so I'm going to stop there to pick them up. I also have some shopping to do, my middle daughter has a birthday coming up. Other than that I'll be working on my daily chores.
The town finally started working on our street yesterday afternoon. Hope they finish paving it over the next couple of days. It's noisy, dirty and parking around the corner is a pain in the butt.
I hope everyone is well and has a nice day!

I kept putting off getting boots, but after all this rain, flooding & all the puddles at the marina again I just couldn't take walking barefoot through all of it anymore. :lol: I wonder what my neighbor at home thought this morning when he was leaving for work at 6:30 & I was getting out of my car in shorts, t-shirt, rain boots & messy hair. He had a funny look on his face! OOPS! Lol!
