The rain held off yesterday until the evening. Up to then, we were experiencing our usual hot and humid conditions. Today has dawned clear and sunny and our thermometer reads 74 degrees, with 99 our predicted high for the day.

Happy Thursday!
Not too much going on here today. I'm going to take a ride to Target to pick up a few things and then I'll be working on some chores around the house. I was in Hallmark yesterday and they are getting ready for the ornament premiere. They had pretty red curtains hanging up in front of the shelves where the ornaments will be. I wanted to peek behind the curtains so bad but I was afraid I might get in trouble with the sales ladies. I'm so excited for Saturday!

A good evening-things are much calmer and my husband is having a much better time at work. I'm proud of him-he handles his stress so well most of the time!

I manage my stress by listening to Christmas music! And the good news is that Lite 105 Internet Radio out of Dayton has just gone wall-to-wall Christmas music until at least July 26th and possibly July 31st if folks still like it! He even takes requests and plays a good variety of music, some of which I haven't heard before! Hope this is helpful for some of you!

I'm off to bed again! Have a wonderful night MMCers! :wiggy:

That's awesome! I just pulled up lite 105 - I don't have the volume on yet, but it's ready once my boss leaves the office. Ha ha ha! I love the background on the website!

home again, got everything now for this wedding cake on the 18th

I hear Carl is up to some wild stuff again so I am going to chicken out and just head upstairs to read.

I do not know what is going on around here tonight, passed 3 volunteer firefighters with lights on racing to the fire hall, two ambulances and 3 police cars all headed the same way. Passed 2 vehicles pulled over by police and just up the road from us a fire truck and ambulance with all their lights flashing by a house.....is there a full moon ?

Good Thursday morning, my Christmas friends!

I'm still catching up at work and at home after being gone for almost two weeks. There obviously was a storm while we were gone. The clocks were flashing, and the pool is full of pine needles, even though the closest pine tree is pretty far away. I've fished out all the pine needles, but I need to vacuum out the pecan leaves. Maybe this afternoon.

And the DVR is full of my shows. So much to catch up on!

Good evening,

Back to work this morning, had to dig out of a mess. Can't wait to see what my vacation brings.

I am being so spoiled with my wife off for the summer, she made home made salsa, very spicy and tasty, home made fudge, and chicken and dumplings for dinner. I better not get use to this, it's back to normal come late August.

We have decided on the first day of my vacation, we will head up to Yankee Candle Village for their Christmas in July celebration. They have lots of things going on, plus Santa will be there for crafts with kids, sleigh rides, and discounts on all things Christmas. I can't wait.

The morning comes way to quickly.
