She was pretty exhausted this morning, usually wants to go out on the deck while it's nice and cool, and then eat when she comes inside. But all she wanted to do this morning was sleep. I couldn't figure out if she was just tired from being at the vet yesterday, or if she wasn't feeling well. When I got home this evening, Adrian said that she had gotten sick during the day. And she hadnt eaten either. She did eat a little tonight, and is still pretty relaxed, so I'll have to keep an eye on her. Hard to tell if it's anxiety, weather related, etc. Her leg seems to be doing a little bit better, however she lifts it a lot.

Good morning friends! I hope you all had a good and restful night last night. I went to bed early (a theme this week!) and slept very well. My new workout routine has been making me feel great but also tired!

I'm on call this weekend and have about an hour's worth of work to do each day, but I'm looking forward to the time off around then! Is it just me, or is the summer FAR busier than the fall? Maybe it's my job, but I really feel like things are so much busier this time of year than when the fall comes around. At least there's a routine then and I'm not traveling as much!

Today is my middle daughter's 20th birthday. Time really needs to slow down, it's freaking me out!
Typical day of errands and chores. I'm working on a menu plan and grocery list for next week. I have to figure out what butcher I'm going to since mine is closed due to the fire. I really hope the town finishes paving my street soon. I wanted to food shop tomorrow but I refuse to unload a car full of groceries when I'm parked around the corner. I hate unloading the car when it's parked in my driveway! I guess I'll have to make small shopping trips until they're finished.
We will celebrate my daughter's birthday later this evening.
That's about it for me. I hope everyone is well and has a nice day!

Great night huh! It's a Friday night, no rain, no work....It felt so nice to cut the lawn tonight, just cruising along on the tractor, wow! I enjoyed cutting the grass, I must be sick....LOL!

We ended this evening running a few light errands and then we stopped and got a yogurt, then we made our last stop at Home Depot, and I bought a 32 foot ladder. Tomorrow, I plan to use it, so that I can get up on the roof of the house and the garage roof, to just take a look at things. Then while I'm out there, clean out the gutters and change the light bulbs in the outdoor flood lights, over to LEDs.

This evening I got to watch my first Christmas in July movie on the Hallmark channel - Home Alone. Love that one, what a nice way to bring in CIJ.... Oh while we were at the yogurt place, they had a sign up that they will have CIJ flavors the week of July 20th...ROAD TRIP!!!!!

Well, think Ill read some posts then go to bed. Have a wonderful evening!

Rejoice with me, for my sister-in-law decided she hated her dual-monitor pc setup, and gave it to me. So, I've gone from a slow, clunky Win98 desktop to this sleek, lovely Win7 desktop with two monitors. I am having a blast playing with photoshop on 2 monitors. And it's so nice to have a computer at home that works as well as my one here at work! Yay!

Yea, me and the heat don't do so well either...Man do ya ever wonder how people used to deal with the heat back in the days before anyone even thought of an air conditioner?

Hello everyone. Sweet Kimmie had to go to the vet. She somehow hurt her leg and has been limping all day. :(
The vet thinks it's okay but gave her pain meds and told us she can't go on walks for two weeks. Poor thing will hate it; she loves walks.
She's of course acting very pitiful and is getting extra loves. :)
Here she is...hurts too bad to stand up to eat.
