Good morning everyone!

The fall weather has officially left the building...it's going to be hot and humid here all of next week and all the way through the extended forecast...not one day has a high under 87F. So ready for fall weather, and the fact that we had a sneak peak the last few days hasn't made this any easier!

Today's going to be busy for a Sunday--I've got to work a few hours this afternoon and next Sunday afternoon, too. Hate when I've got things to do on the weekends...but that's okay, it'll be over before I know it and September will settle things down even more! At least I'm not traveling as much!!!!

It's our Anniversary today, so we plan to relax and spend some time together. We may venture out for a nice lunch, and will be grilling out a nice meal later.

Our weather luck continues to hold and yesterday was very nice indeed for August here in the South.
One more day(?), then more typical weather returns for a while with temps dependably back in the 90's, no doubt accompanied by elevated humidity.
Right now? Well, it's pretty comfortable here at 73 degrees under calm, sunny skies.

I have to work.

I better be optimistic, I do love my job and everyone I work with. The customers are great too! No matter what, it would be nice to stay home with hubby and the fur kids!

Merry Greetings my Jolly Friends!

Won't be on much today, have to set up our cell phones - uggh - I was going to be the last hold out, but surely there are others who still prefer land lines. I need the convenience for work, especially when I'm travelling and due to my husband's health issues, I've insisted he start carrying one when he's out and about for emergencies. I don't plan on "getting hooked" on these devices, but then again, I used to have a dinosaur computer with dial up and now I'm posting with my ASUS transformer tablet so who knows. We have agreed to only give out our contact numbers to family and for me, it will include Senior Staff at work. The GPS feature will likely come in handy when I'm visiting places I'm not familiar with, and the camera will come in handy for quick photo opportunities where I can sneak up on wildlife faster than whipping out my big Nikon.

Happy Sunday friends!

The sun is shining now but I'm wondering if it will last. Yesterday, it rained the entire day just about, which we were able to duck in and out of but after a while i had to break down and buy a Disney poncho. London made fun of me and told me i looked like i was wearing an expensive trash bag, lol. We made the most of it and kept on keeping on.

Today we're going to animal kingdom and we have dinner plans for Saana at the Animal Kingdom Lodge. We've had dinner there before and Lizzy loves it because the entire time you're dining the animals are just roaming around the resort grounds and you can watch them do what comes naturally. The food is wonderful as well.

I'm determined to buy a Christmas ornament before we leave for home, I'm just looking for now because you could spend tons of money and have no room left for anything else in your suitcase. I already bought several things from the Japanese pavilion at EPCOT yesterday, including a new sake set and several new soup bowls.

Each time i see Halloween or Christmas ornaments i think of all of you and can't wait to get home to resume the holiday countdown with you all.

Good Morning MMC from Vermont !
quiet morning here, enjoying watching the birds at the feeder enjoying the view. No place to go till tomorrow, spent all my money at yard sales yesterday. LOL. Did find a couple of things, at one place they were selling a Christmas village still in boxes but wanted way to much for them. My brother bought a Christmas train new in box never used for only $40 worth about $300 and is now trying to sell it on Craigs list.
My niece and her hubby are coming over for dinner and a visit.
I am sitting on the deck enjoying the cool breeze waiting for everyone else to wake up. Jan is off playing in his golf tournament, sister working in kitchen, mom putting together a puzzle, LittleCS reading.

Thanks, CAH! I appreciate your post and (((hugs))) I'll pass them along! Ella is so much better today! The pain meds are helping for sure - she is much more cheerful today and was even able to crawl up on her love seat this morning, which is "her's". Anymore, that is the only couches are the only thing she can crawl up on without help, so I know she's feeling better! Thanks again!
