Christmas Countdown - 2015

Well actually he was already dead a very long time when we discovered . We hadn't realised there were a few of them at the time. I wonder now if the one I'm thinking of was even the original. Trying to remember he was in a couple of films right? I seem to remember movies but can't remember what.

I read that the original kitty was in "Shamus" with Burt Reynolds. I swear he's the cat belonging to Rooster Cogburn's Chinese friend near the beginning of "True Grit" (the John Wayne version).

Sure do - in fact I remember when O'Malley was a kitten and he learned how to back up on the window ledge by watching the snowplows and garbage trucks backing up. Sometimes he'd move forward and then back until he got to a point where he could leap down safely. It reminded me of Morris the cat doing the cha-cha-cha in those old commercials.

I sure have missed O'Malley! Good to see him here.

quick read through, all this talk of horror movies, never watch them, cannot stand them, the physically make me sick. The scariest movie I have watched would be "The Ghost and Mr Chicken"

Good Afternoon MMC !

it has been a busy morning here, had to pick up a new bed for LittleCS, do some shopping and the really hard part, find a new purse.
LittleCS is staying with me for awhile, the many drugs are making her pain tolerable. Xrays next week will hopefully tell us what is going on with her back.
Tomorrow going to a potluck for lunch and then have to take mom's ac out, then spending afternoon playing games and eating icecream.

I need some Christmas music and cheer--my UVA hoos lost a close game to Notre Dame today in the last 12 seconds! BOO. At least it's been an amazingly productive day and our windows are open with the AC OFF!!!!! Love fall and rainy Saturdays!

Scarcely over half a week left until BOTH of our counts are in double-digits after we pass through the 100-day Christmas Day Window on September 16.

Yesterday continued our humid trend. Hopefully the predicted rain will hold off for most of the day today so we can better enjoy our trip to see my older niece in Charlotte.
We are at 73 degrees here currently in the middle of the great state of North Carolina, home of the Panthers!

It's coming!

I saw it today. Yep. I saw it today with my own eyes. I'd love to share, but I think it will have to wait about 10-12 days. Why that long? It depends on when Crown determines that Christmas is beginning to "Blossom."

What did I see? Photographic evidence will have to wait. I must say, it was the start of something magical. The Seasonal section of Walmart appears to be finally switching over to Halloween. Even so, something exciting almost always manages to sneak its way on to the shelves along with the Halloween merchandise...

There wasn't much, yet it was still enough to make me stand in amazement. Our time is getting closer. It's great to see that stores are beginning to roll out their Christmas stuff. After all, the Season is only a mere two months (from tomorrow) away!

Anyway, I can't wait to share my photos with everyone! Christmas is, indeed, beginning to Blossom. Hopefully the sights and sounds of the Most Wonderful Time of the Year are around somewhere in your area, too!

Maggie has an ear infection. I started her medicine so hopefully it will kick in soon. She's snuggled up next to me right now and seems happy. Fingers crossed that she sleeps well. Thank you both, I really appreciate the prayers.

I'm very sorry that she has an ear infection, but I'm glad that you got an answer as to why she was having problems! Poor girl.

I have been working on a project all night, I had to get a larger micro-sd card for my new phone.
I ran out of room on my old one so I am downloading all my music onto it and it has taken hours.
