Christmas Countdown - 2015

Good Sunday morning everyone. I already did some laundry and ran to the grocery store. I am now having a belgium waffle with some bacon. This is what Sunday mornings should taste like. Currently it's 49 degrees with partly sunny skies in the suburbs of NY. Yes I said partly SUNNY. Now I know that means the other PART is NOT sunny but I'll take it after having not seen any sun since last Sunday! Lots of "sun" references here apparently.
Anyway, I plan on doing some work today for school but I really don't want to haha. Sunday always feels like the day of the week you don't wanna do anything. I'll be watching the Jets/Dolphins game here in a few. It's on 9:30 AM which is kind of weird but cool. I'm a Jets fan. Other then that, I'm hoping it'll be a good Sunday. I'm having lasagna later. That makes me think of Christmas Day because that's what I have every year as our meal in the afternoon. Ahh I'm wanting to watch some Christmas shows soon but I still have so many Halloween ones to watch. Maybe I can catch up on some today.

Good Morning, Everyone.

The weekend moves on -- as does our count -- and the advance toward our next Milestone.

Today's figures:
Days to the Season: 40
Days to Christmas Day: 82

And these interesting numbers tell us that we are but THREE days off from the home stretch Milestone marker, meaning, of course, that we will have completed NINETY PERCENT of our voyage to Christmas Season 2015 as of October 7.
(It's been quite a trip, hasn't it?)


Well......more rain.
Yes, more rain.
But at last there is a "break in the clouds" as the weather service predicts an end to this Moist Madness no later than Monday.
(Whew! What relieve that will be.)
We have started out this morning at 61 overcast degrees here in the soggy center of NC.

Good morning everyone, Happy Sunday!
Just finished frying a batch of meatballs and started cooking a big pot of Sunday sauce. Smells good in here already. It's going to be another dreary and cool day. At least it's not raining. I don't have too much planned for today. I never finished decorating the front of my house so I may do that. I have my pumpkins & mums out there but I still have to get my lawn decorations in the ground. My husband will have to come out and help me, I don't usually have the strength to push those stakes in the ground. I'm hoping to catch up on some rest today, haven't been sleeping well at all. We'll see how that goes. That's about it for me. I hope everyone is well and has a wonderful day!

Merry Sunday all,
Hope you all are enjoying your weekend. I managed to tidy up the back garden yesterday. It was a grey crisp day, dry and not too cold. I really enjoyed being out there and I am glad it's another thing I can check off my list of jobs. Chances are that will be the last major tidy up till spring. Put away all the children's summer toys etc.

Getting ready for work in a bit. It will be a busy day which is good as it should go fast.

No signs of sun out on Long Island? I saw it when I got up...I swear I did although now I look and it's already looking darker again .
