Good Morning! It was a chilly 41 degrees at the house this morning; love it.... I would be at home if I lived in a more northern latitude or higher elevation like Utah...The wife; that's another story, she would prefer to be on a beach somewhere, where it never goes below 70 degrees~ I always remind her, that there are plenty of hugs right here, if she needs to get warm
!
Tuesday, just another small hump to get to the top of the hill tomorrow for the work week climb, after that, it's downhill all the way to Friday.
Me, been working every evening at home to get my grandfather snug as a bug in a rug! I got him all the comforts of home x3! Been hanging pictures, installing safety (elderly ADA) things, got him a brand new refrigerator yesterday, washed all his clothes, coats, bed clothes, and are buying him new clothes that fit him better. He tells me that he knows that my wife and I are turning ourselves inside out for him, but he misses his home. I completely understand and expect that kind of an honest answer from him; I would to, if I lived in a location for 97 years and then I move away from it.... We did bring all of his furniture here and picked and choosed what will work and got rid of what will not work. Right at this moment, I have 2 of his old upright refrigerators and one upright freezer on my pick-up truck to take to the scrap yard when I get home this afternoon. I've made great progress and am very pleased with my wife and I how much we have got done in the past few weeks!
