Christmas Countdown - 2015

[Holiday]

Good Friday Morning MMC. It's currently 52 degrees under cloudy skies here in the suburbs of NY. We are expecting a high temperature today of 64 degrees with partly cloudy skies. Looks like our last seasonal/nice day before we get hit with a chilly November type air-mass Saturday through Monday.
Speaking of Saturday through Monday that is my 3 day weekend so I may as well enjoy the chillier weather being off. I know you are all looking forward to your weekend as well. Can you believe we are only 2 weeks until Halloween? That's just crazy. It really is mid-October now. I plan on doing my usual things this weekend. I will go for my daily runs and with the chill coming it will only help me to run a little bit faster. You should see how fast I can run when it's 0 degrees lol. Talk about good motivation to force you to run faster. Other then that I plan on going to IHOP with my mom and siblings on Monday for brunch. But let's just think about today. It's Friday and the countdown to the weekend is on.

Good morning MMC!
I am still off work because of my arm it sucks because I can't do anything no crocheting is getting done no work is getting done I just sit here watching Netflix and TV and basically doing nothing. The pain is getting less but it's still very sore. I will be off till at least next Wednesday still.
I cannot even type on the computer I am thankful that my phone I can speak into and it types for me. This is the main reason I haven't been on here very often.

We're having snowfall warnings here for tonight expecting up to 15 centimeters of snow... I don't have any boots yet! It is also too early for it so many leaves still on the trees it could end up being a real problem.

Days to the Season: 28 (Four weeks from today!)
Days to Christmas Day: 70 (Ten weeks from today!)
(Getting so close, it hurts!)

Keep tlhis nice weather coming, Mother Nature. We love it!
Today's dose comes in a little chilly at 56 degrees, but with a promise of a high in the 70's by this afternoon.
(That's where it ends, though. Cold weather is expected shortly!)

I know not everyone is going to be as obsessed with Christmas as us but I have to say it does surprise me how many people really do not care for Christmas. Even people I've worked with etc. act like it's nothing. I wonder if they don't have any special traditions or maybe their families don't celebrate it like it's that important. Hmmm...

I guess I always assume they must have or enjoy all the traditions we have. Or maybe they didn't have happy childhood Christmas's? There HAS to be a reason!

Oh, I will!! The trick will be to keep her OUT of all the food this weekend. The last time we had wings she grabbed one right off the grill (raw!) I had to dig it out of her mouth - she wasn't giving it up! YUCK!!!! LOL! I fed it to the fish!

I know. As a christmas lover, I also find it somewhat sad when some people just don't get it. I feel like they are missing out on this great big secret. However, I respect everyone's right to celebrate or not celebrate but what really disappoints me is when people are nasty about christmas. I mean, why go out of their way to show their hate for it so much? If you don't like it then just shut the heck up!
