I am rushing off to work soon. I've not had time to catch up on here since yesterday morning so I hope everyone is well. We had a very good day enjoying some down time at home.

Good morning everyone!! Haven't stopped by lately but I wanted to say hi!! It's getting chilly and we are getting in the spirit here.. Listened to Christmas music all the way to and from the city yesterday (the kids' idea!)

I'm curled up in my sweater-getting ready for church, but boy is it chilly in our apartment! Outside we're just slightly above freezing. Tonight is our first expected frost! I'm REALLY getting into the holiday spirit now, and it's glorious!
My husband and I are going to church this morning, where we'll receive a blessing on our anniversary (our first one is a week from today!!!), so I'm looking forward to that! <3 Afterwards, it's more cleaning, football, and going to a friend's ordination service at 5PM before small group. Sundays are church days for us, but I ALWAYS make time for some football! Wouldn't be fall without it!

Well a few years back I became crazy about exercising (think part of it was getting older freaks me out) and I have to say now I am definitely in the best shape of my life...I know that I can do things physically that I couldn't do 10 years ago when I was in my 20s...the only difference is that it hurts a little bit more after lol

I actually think, at least for me personally, that Thanksgiving might be my 2nd favorite DAY of the year after Christmas Eve. I know Christmas Day is "it" but it really is "it" if you know what I mean as in sorta the ending/climax to the season...with Thanksgiving you wake up feeling like now the world is just beginning Christmas season and we have everything ahead of us.
Making time for football on a Sunday is good for a healthy marriage I think

Good Sunday Morning MMC! It's currently 34 degrees under sunny skies. We are expecting a high temperature of 48 under partly cloudy skies. Brrr. It's supposed to go in to the 20s tonight so yeah it's feeling more like Christmas than Halloween! But it will warm up during the week back to normal maybe even a little above it in to the 60s. Can't wait!
I notice most of us post a little bit later on Sunday morning as opposed to the other 6 days of the week on here. I think that shows we all have a little bit of a "lazy Sunday" and relaxed schedule on Sundays. It's great isn't it? For me it feels like Saturday since I'm off tomorrow. Will be going to IHOP for brunch and just doing a few other things. Looking forward to it but just want to enjoy my Sunday. Hope my Jets beat the Redskins this afternoon. I have a gift card I never used for pizza hut so I think that is going to be dinner tonight. I can't remember the last time I went a full week without eating pizza. Might be about 6 months now!
