Will do! Not a costume per se, but I did buy a retro jack-o-lantern Henley that I plan to wear-it glows in the dark =]Oh what fun, you'll have to let us know what his costume is!
Are you dressing up?

Good luck to your kids Brad!Good Wednesday morning, my Christmas friends!
The play was a hit last night! The catered dinner was great, too, but the kids did an awesome job! Jacob (cousin Zeke) was playing an old banjo of mine throughout the production, Shakespeare and the Hillbillies. Elizabeth was Aunt Marmalade, and spoke with a great Smoky Mountain accent. I'm sure Mgramsey knows what I'm talking about.
They have another rehearsal this afternoon, then the competition is tomorrow. I believe they'll place!
I hope y'all have a great day!![]()
They sure are!!They are such cutie patooties!![]()
Yeah that word does not bring back good memories. It's that "frigid" word that bothers me...
I'll keep her in my thoughts <3Thanks Holiday!
Maggie is not a Halloween fan at all, she's a nervous wreck every time the doorbell rings. I have to put a baby gate up at my front door, she'd probably bite everyone's ankles if I didn't!
Yeah or below zero EVER!I agree Coen! Love cozy music on snowy or dreary days!!
I hope to not drop below zero for a long time yet. LOL!Enjoy your day!
Sounds as friendlys NitroThanks Holiday!

I think Halloween should be on a weekend always. I'm not sure why they can't make it the last Saturday of October ever year. Would really help the kids out and you could always have a rain date.I didn't realize neighborhoods have trick or treat schedules, they don't do that around here.
Good Morning, MerryBells!Good Morning All! It is a rainy Wednesday here in Glen Burnie. It's dark and windy, just right for Halloween! It's a good day to be at work, too; it's nice and warm here, and it's pleasant to look out at the bad weather while typing and drinking tea. I'm looking forward to tomorrow, too; Hubby and I are making our annual trip to the local Gravity Hill, where you can turn your car motor off and the car will still go up the hill. It's a dark and spooky bit of road, very appropriate for a Halloween trip. Ah well, better get back to work for now. Have a great day!
We have set {requested} times here, too.I didn't realize neighborhoods have trick or treat schedules, they don't do that around here.
That sounds crazy!!! Have a great time. Enjoy your dreary day at work...Good Morning All! It is a rainy Wednesday here in Glen Burnie. It's dark and windy, just right for Halloween! They started it here several years ago...probably longer ago than I realize. They start with a Halloween parade around town & then all the kids go off into their neighborhoods for trick or treating. They do it in the afternoon to keep kids safe. I'm glad they didn't do that when I was a kid ~ we liked dressing up & going around after dark. LOLI didn't realize neighborhoods have trick or treat schedules, they don't do that around here.
LOL ~ good luck with that!!Yeah or below zero EVER!

You guys always have the most fun!I'm excited - I just got an email from my SIL asking if us Aunts can "pick chicken" for my nephews wedding! Many of you probably don't know what that means ~ pending where a wedding reception is being held, many Aunt's take off work the Friday before a niece or nephews wedding to help pick chicken off the bones for chicken & noodles & dressing (a staple at weddings here) Most weddings here are between 600 & 750 people, so it takes A LOT of chicken. It might not sound glorious, but it's always a fun morning with family, coffee, breakfast....and wine! And we get to watch the hall being decorated ~ it's exciting. She also said there is going to be a cookie table & asked if we could help by baking cookies for it. Right up my alley!! YAY!!! (it's the little things...)
Yes I do. It's easy to tell whose is "not from around here".Good Wednesday morning, my Christmas friends!

Hmm yeah that would kind of ruin it for me as a kid. Part of the "fun" was being a kid when you weren't out much in the dark and going around trick or treating at night. It set the mood. Wouldn't have felt the same doing it during the daylight but I understand them wanting to keep kids safe. They started it here several years ago...probably longer ago than I realize.
