We had a coupon for a local restaurant, so we went out for a big lunch. Now we're both answering the door and handing out candy. Earlier we were at Staples and Walgreen's, and they were both putting out their Christmas items.

Well on another note, I received a response from the job interview that I went on this past Wednesday, they told me that the top 3 owners met and all agreed that they want for me to come on board, but not yet. The would like for me to wait until they re-evaluate their fiscal position as a company in January and in-between now and then, if someone leaves or something changes, I am #1 on their list to be hired. So, good and not so good news overall. Basically, stand-by and wait~

Still---you still have a steady job while you wait, yes? Or had you already resigned from your previous place? Sounds like they want to make sure they can pay you what you're worth.

We've come to appreciate the blessing of having a steady job, as Mr. is still temping while looking for full-time work a year after being laid off.

Good evening, MMC, and HAPPY HALLOWEEN! I'm with some of you in that tonight starts the holiday season in full swing--not just Christmas, but Halloween, Thanksgiving, and mine and my sisters' birthdays, all within two months! I am SO excited!! It feels unreal. I can't believe it's here again! I won't go full swing Christmas until the season starts on here though! Time to celebrate Thanksgiving as well!

You're right MMC is the best and October is an amazing month. That month long build to Halloween is fun as anything...and November...then December...it's like building to the ultimate pinnacle slowly but surely.

Sounds like you're having a similar Halloween to me...and a great one. The original Halloween all-time classic...think it came out in 1978 the year I was born. I had nightmares as a kid cause my Uncle used to love watching it with me when I was in my "single digits" age-wise. Actually to be honest I think that movie still scared me in to my teens lol...

It is creepy! An original! Paved the way for many others, but no one could duplicate it.

It has been scary & fun!
We've had more trick-or-treaters than we've ever had, so we've enjoyed seeing all the kids costumes Harlowe is loving it, too!
