Christmas Countdown - 2015

Well, I got up as usual and just noticed that I forgot to set the clocks back one hour last night. Darn, missed out on an extra hour of sleep. Oh well, I'll just drink coffee for another hour instead.

I really loved watching Halloween shows all of October. I think that next year I need to start earlier though. There's too many shows I've found over the years and I have to watch more. Hard to believe we're here. My husband turned on the Christmas lights around our windows inside in our living room before I got home last night, and it was magical walking in. It's a beautiful time of year to celebrate all of the holidays upcoming and past!

Today I'm planning to take it easy. I have to work at 4 for an hour this afternoon, so I'm taking it easy this morning and just spending time around the home. I'm hoping to finish my second scarf of the season for my husband and hit up the craft store for some more yarn to knit others! I love this time of year...perfect for scarf knitting. It's going to be a bit warmer than normal this week, but that's okay. It'll be chilly off and on, and yesterday was a reminder we don't want it too chilly too quickly--my husband runs his marathon and I run my 8K in less than 2 weeks now. After that, bring it on!

Good Morning! It's a damp 51 degrees with light rain falling outside. Getting ready to start making a big breakfast with fried potatoes and onions, eggs, bagels, sausage links. Today plans are to do just some odds and ends inside the house today and take down the Halloween decoration outside (weather permitting)! Quiet here this morning, everyone else is still in bed asleep from a late Halloween night of watching scary movies. Ok coffee is done....In serious need of some Java this morning~

Halloween is behind us, November is here and Thanksgiving looms ahead.
As such, we hereby add it to the count:
Days to the Season: 12 (Getting awfuly close to SINGLE DIGITS!)
Days to Thanksgiving: 25 (Just over 3 1/2 weeks off!)
Days to Christmas Day: 56

(The holidays are upon us, my Friends.)

Coolish yesterday. But with lots of sun, no rain and no wind, it didn't feel bad at all.
This morning has begun at 59 degrees and we just had a light sprinkle pass by.
Lots of rain is predicted by tomorrow.

Well, my birthday boy just got up. Yup, 23 today! Sheezzz, I'm getting old!!! We will be taking him to the Melting Pot tonight for his birthday dinner tonight. My gosh, can't believe how time has flown by, he's taller than I am now.....
