Good morning MMC! Happy Pines Eve!

It's a rainy and wet start to today. Yesterday, it rained all day! Today hopefully will clear out later on.

I've got a business lunch and meeting to go to today. Hopefully I'll get off a little early so I can relax before rehearsal tonight. I've been asked to play in our city's pops orchestra as some of you know, and I've got two rehearsals left before the concert-and they both go until 10PM. One of them happens to be Thursday night, so I'll be up late anyways for the countdown!

I slept like a rock last night. Something about this week has me sleeping really heavy. Not a bad thing, just different!

Hope everyone has a wonderful Tuesday!! Times flying by!

Special Post Day 3

Christmas is a time for miracles.

It is a time of giving and receiving.

The greatest miracle and gift came in the form of a tiny baby wrapped in a blanket, born in a barn, a dirty smelly barn.
His birth announcement came in the form of a group of angels telling shepherds who were just doing their job looking after the sheep.
These shepherds left their sheep sleeping on the hill and ran into Bethlehem, looking in every stable and barn to see if what they heard was really ture. I am sure they also wondered what they were doing, they left their sheep unprotected, babies aren't born in barns and maybe they were just plain seeing things, too much wine before bed maybe. But they felt compelled to look and soon they found Him just as the angel said !! There really was a baby born in this barn !

Today we still look into a barn to see the baby Jesus and marvel that he came down to earth this way.

This Christmas story has been a part of my life since I was very little. Every Christmas morning Dad would read it to us. I can still hear his deep voice telling it. He had a way of telling a story that left you feeling like you were there too.

So never stop marvelling at miracles or stop giving to others. You will be more blessed than the one who receives.

May the miracle of Christmas, past and present live in your heart forever.

I'll know later today for i have to go to the dentist and i do not like his job. But our had to be done, luckily for me it's just a 1/2 years check up.
Good luck with the dentist. I put off going for years and then went a few years ago and found I had an infection. Luckily I got it in time not to get seriously sick (it could have spread throughout my body they said). Ever since then I go every 6 months to the dentist. Now if only I could get myself to start going to the Dr. regularly...

Great post Star!

Thoughts and prayers for both her and you. I hope they find some answers, and I hope they can treat her so she can be back to her normal self soon.
Thank you so much, DYHWIH~

Merry Tuesday, snowflake! Love that picture.
Wishing you a day of better health for you and for Harlowe.
Merry Pines Eve!
Merry Tuesday, friend~
Thank you for your kind words.
Hope you have a blessed day!

Good Tuesday morning MMC! It's currently 52 degrees under cloudy skies. We are expecting a forecast high temperature of 59 degrees with some showers. No amount of rain showers can dampen my spirits though with the Christmas season coming this Friday.
I won my football pool at work for a 2nd time this year. I won $52 (that's the weekly payout) so $104 for the year. There's 30 people in it and only 17 weeks so odds are basically only 50/50 you win even once. Pretty cool that I won twice. Maybe I'll bring in something on Thanksgiving Eve for the office like some donuts or goodies. I think that my mom is going to pick out the turkey today for Thanksgiving. That just gets me excited.
I hope you all have a great Tuesday as we approach D-Day. Talk to you guys later!

Congrats on the office football wins!

Picking out the turkey is exciting!
I'm sure you're extra excited to have your brother here for an extended time.

I've been menu planning, and talking to my family about Thanksgiving day.
It will be the last time I see my parents for about 5 months-I will miss them!

Have a great day!

Bless you! Wrap up warm and make sure you have a hot drink after if you can. I hope this day goes quickly for you so can get some rest!
Thank you! I will!
I will pick up a Christmas tea on the way back to the office.

Hope you have a beautiful day!

Good evening,

Another long day slinging turkeys today, I put out 47 cases or over 1,900lbs of those heavy birds today. I am beat to say the least. I am off tomorrow for a Dr appointment, so I will work Wednesday. I am just hoping to get home early enough to get more decorating done since I lost yesterday as one of my days.
I hope you all had a great day.

Goodnight, everyone.

Good morning Xmas, hope your appointment goes well!

Okay ... meeting of the financial support club ...
Workplace is changing our dental insurance the first of the year, and our dentist doesn't accept the new insurance. And we're both in the middle of expensive treatments ... so we either have to pay 100% ourselves, or switch in midstream to unknown dentists that accept our insurance. It's made me crazy all afternoon.

So frustrating. We've never had dental insurance so it's the norm for us to pay out of pocket for everything. Not fun. Especially when we had three in braces all at the same time.
Thinking of you and Mr, hope it all works out.
xx
