Christmas Countdown - 2015

Good evening everyone!
I made the executive decision to begin my decorating today despite my rule not to do so before Thanksgiving. I realized that much of the stress I was feeling the last couple of years have been from Thanksgiving being so late in November. It just was really cramping my style!
So on Thanksgiving, I will still decorate our table with my pilgrims and pumpkins, but the rest of the house...well, you guessed it!
I hope all of you are well and feeling the most wonderful season's magic already!

I made that switch a few years ago, as well. Not only can I enjoy them longer, but it's not that mad rush around Thanksgiving, like you said. And you can thoroughly enjoy the holiday, and not have to worry about decorating immediately after.
It sure is frigid here in beautiful Wisconsin with those winds! Hope you have a cozy night =]

It is a beautiful line. The entire party scene is a great one. For some reason it seems to really captures the Victorian England Christmas vibe.

I just awoke from a nice nap. I needed it after my surgery today. Obviously, everything went great and I am in much less pain than I had anticipated. The real unfortunate part is that I can't really afford the $1100. Ouch. Thankfully, I am covered. Hopefully the funds return in about a month... I may have posted that, but I can't recall due to being a little out of it from the drugs when I returned home.

I am working at Russell tomorrow. The teacher said that I would be helping her class setup their Christmas Tree during the repeat period. She knows me too well! I am quite excited. I will be able to setup TWO Christmas Trees tomorrow. Hooray!!
