Christmas Countdown - 2015

I'm excited that next week is Thanksgiving, but because of my food issues, I have to plan special menus for my family and my husband's family separately as well. We also found out today that Mr. DYHWIH has to work not only Christmas Day but also December 26th and on call both nights at the hospital. Oh well. :\

We're going to take December 23rd off so that we can have our own little Christmas, and then he's sending me to be with my family an hour away so that I'm not sitting home by myself while he works. Sad we won't have the holiday together, but such is life when you take care of others.

Sorry your husband has to work on Christmas. You'll have a fabulous time with him on the 23rd though and then you'll keep on celebrating with your family. Sounds wonderful!

All my clothes are wet wet wet..(even though I had a umbrella)
Feeling a bit tired, but have to stay awake a couple of hours more...

Thanks for the idea!! The Mrs. and I were trying to think of some way to display some of my mom's village. (She had way too many for us to have all together so we are just taking a few of the more sentimental houses)
