Afternoon all,
I feel like I can't catch my breath these days, I have so much little things to do. I can't imagine how busy you guys must be having Thanksgiving in the mix too!!!

I put up the window lights a couple days ago but when I switched them on they were blue which was not what I purchased LOL! I tried to like it but it didn't go with any of the other lights and Mr festive wasn't keen . It was funny though as I was not expecting it when I turned them on! I bought two sets that day so I must have checked one set twice and unfortunately didn't realise until they were up LOL!

Anyway.... hope you all are having a great Thanksgiving Eve!

Good afternoon, everyone! We do not celebrate Thanksgiving over here, but tomorrow we will officially open the new building of our school. That will be a festive happening that I am really looking forward to. I am feeling less tired today and the students were awesome.

Canadian thanksgiving was last month so our feasting is done till Christmas !

Good Wednesday morning MMC! It's one of my favorite days to go to work. Thanksgiving eve is here. Unbelievable. I brought in breakfast for my coworkers as I do every year on the day before Thanksgiving. Last year we left at 1:30 but this year our goal is to leave by noon. I'm very happy to be able to share these special days and moments with all of you. I hope you all have a great day and you feel as excited as I do today.

Good afternoon MMC!
It seems like winter began today as suddenly the weather turned rather cold and rainy...yesterday the temperature was in 70's, today it is much colder.
The baby woke up a bit sick today, I think he has a cold. I am a bit worried about him.
On a different note I am so excited that it is only one month to Christmas!

Gingerbread house work again today...every day till next Wednesday or when ever it gets done !
Party at the Pines tonight, Carl I'm sure has something planned to celebrate this one month to Christmas day.
For my southern neighbours, have fun getting ready for your thanksgiving tomorrow.
Now to go and make a batch of fondant and a bowl of icing!

Have fun working on the gingerbread house! Hope it's going well!! xx

Good Morning, Dear Friends.
And say, now. Tomorrow is Thanksgiving, isn't it?
Let's check the count to be certain:

Days to Thanksgiving: 1 (Yep. TOMORROW, alright.)
Days to Christmas Day: 30 (ONE MONTH FROM TODAY!!)


A bit warmer yesterday than it was Monday.
Still warmer weather is predicted for today, with the trend continuing on through Friday before we cool off again. No rain on the horizon, either.
(Nice!)
We are at 34 degrees here in the capital city at this hour but hopefully will get a quick warm-up.


OK, Folks!
Tonight at the Shispering Pines is another open house you just don't want to miss. I refer, of course, to Carl's annual Thanksgiving Eve celebration at our MMC-friendly resort inn of choice.

It goes without saying that a suptuous dinner with all the trimmings will be served in the formal dining room.
It also goes without saying that the inn's decor will be High Thanksgiving.
But if it's a Thanksgiving atmosphere you want, don't wait beyond tomorrow. I never ceased to be shocked at how quickly Carl can see to it that the 'Pines gets into a totally Christmas mode so quickly!

Anyway, I plan not to miss it and hope to see as many of you there as possible this evening.

Happy Thanksgiving Eve morning, my Christmas friends!

All this talk of going home early today is making me jealous. We usually cut out a little early on Christmas Eve, but they're not so forgiving on Thanksgiving Eve. In their defense, however, they do give us the Friday after Thanksgiving with pay, too. So, we get a four day weekend after today!

We checked out the mower Mama was interested in, and it looked good, so she bought it. It's one of those industrial zero-turn SCAG-brand mowers. She needs it, because she includes the whole pecan orchard as her yard. That's several acres of grass to cut, but she loves it!

We're BBQ-ing chicken for the plant today, and the whole place is filled with the smell of chicken cooking. I'm getting hungry!

I like blue lights, but Nancy likes white lights. I wonder which color goes up on my house?

I hope you can slow down and enjoy the holidays. I'm trying, too, but it seems like we're racing to the finish line again!

Thank you Festive. Yes I am really worried because he is so young and can't tell me what he is feeling. I hope he doesn't get worse also because tomorrow I have to take him to a hospital appointment for which we've been waiting a long time and is rather important since we have to meet the surgeon who has to perform surgery on our baby when he's around 1 year old.

Prayers for your little one's recovery and surgery. (((Hugs)) I hope he doesn't get worse and you can make that very important appointment. Thinking of you.

Yes, we do. Rain and snow starting before dawn tomorrow, some sleet or freezing rain possible, turning to all snow in the afternoon- highs in the low 30's.
