I just saw where they had to close 2 school districts here today because of multiple threats to them. I swear I don't what is wrong with this world now of days.

Ikr! They are the same images that are on Google Earth, just with snow.

Good evening ~
I worked on the Christmas village this evening. Still not finished but I thought I'd share a picture anyway. The cats have been pretty good with my Christmas trees but they can't seem to keep their paws off of this village. Rosie broke the train engine earlier, my husband is trying to fix it right now. I still have to move some pieces around, put more accessories out and do a better job with that snow but it will have to wait until tomorrow. This is as far as I've gotten so far ~

Good morning MMC! Happy Friday Eve!!!

Well last night was a good news/bad news kind of night. After work I picked up Gracie from the groomer, picked up a gift card to a restaurant, went to Kohls, went to the grocery...got everything put away & started working on cleaning & I made some spiced pecans! (YUM) Then I got a phone call from our neighbor saying I won $1000.00! WOO HOO!! The Legion has a weekly drawing - I paid my $1 & signed in Monday night - if were at the legion last night, I would have won $2000! Darnit! (not complaining!) Anyway - Merry Christmas to me. Too bad we have a $900+ bill due at the auto shop next week. HA! So that was the good news.
I sat down to check email last night & I had a message from my brother in Cape Cod. He is not coming home for Christmas this year. 1st time in a whole bunch of years he won't be here! I was so bummed! My other brother & his family are going to my SIL's family for Christmas Eve. My niece isn't coming home with her 3 boys, & another niece is going to her boyfriends house. Our Christmas Eve crowd will be cut in 1/2. And this is the 1st Christmas without Dad. I was just moping about it last night. Anyway, it's all good, but it definitely won't be a normal kind of Christmas this year.
Hard to believe this is the final Friday before Christmas.

Sorry to hear that you will be missing so many people on Christmas eve and Christmas eve this year. I'm sure you will still have a great party though and hopefully you can skype or facetime with your bother in cape cod so it can still feel like they are there!!!

Yeah, they are saying that they have arrested 2 kids that made threats to Danville but that they aren't the ones that made the facebook threats to both districts.

I finally finished my decorating!!!! That is a weight lifted off my mind.
I have been working on a Christmassy project for a few hours, and I lost track of time. I need to get some sleep. Six more days until my vacation, I work the next 6 in a row. I cannot wait.

I think there is no greater feeling in the world than waking up with nowhere to be and no specific plans for the day. I haven't had that in about a month. Today, I finally get to relax and enjoy. I am so thankful for time to read my Christmas magazine and to make plans with my sisters for next week! My husband has to work 38 hours straight at the hospital so he's sending me home to spend time with my family instead.

It's going to be a good holiday, even if Mr. and I have to celebrate it on the 23rd!

Time off will be few and far between, but more than I've gotten the last few weeks, so that's wonderful. Hope everyone has a very merry day! One more week until Santa's on his flight!

Good Thursday Morning MMC! Are we seriously a week away from my favorite day of the year? Unbelievable. Counting today I have 7 work days left in 2015. I work today and tomorrow. I work Mon-Wed next week. I'm off Christmas Eve/Day and the weekend after obviously. Then I will work Monday the 28th and half a day Tuesday till about lunch time on the 29th. I leave here around noon on the 29th for the rest of the week and weekend. Not a bad schedule. I like seeing everyone talk about their various vacation times for Christmas and New Years. It's exciting. I do have my final exam after work today but I just will do the best I can. Half the class dropped out of this course. It's difficult to begin with and the teacher throws curve balls on the exams which makes it even harder.
I hope you all have a great LAST THURSDAY BEFORE CHRISTMAS EVE!

I'm sorry your Christmas Eve isn't going as you'd hoped. If it's any consolation, it doesn't look like mine will, either.

Good Morning, MMC!!!!!!! It's the day after the Pines and I have to tell you, I'm feeling it!!!! What a party though!!!! A cold front has arrived and we are back to normal winter temps today with a high in the upper 30's. Yuck!!! I was enjoying the warmer temps and so was my electric bill!!!! It also seems that the 4 dumpsters it took to clean out the apartment 2 buildings over last week, left a lasting impression on the owners, so we got a notice saying they would be coming around tomorrow to inspect all the apartments. So I'm going to spend the day cleaning. Then everything will be ready for me to do some cookies this weekend too. I hope everyone is having a GREAT DAY!!!!!!!!!!!!

Oh yikes! Have "fun" cleaning! Baking cookies sounds like more fun!!!!! We have a high of 37º today too. At least we have some bright sunshine! Have a great day!
