Glad you guys had such a Merry time!8°? At this point that is hard to even imagine! Brrrr I was freezing at 25° this morning!
Mom and I had a really great time and my sister ended up coming over too! The spaghetti sauce is still simmering but almost done and we made three batches of peanut brittle! My house smells amazing!
I hope you're having a wonderful day/evening too!
I'm just finishing watching the Rick Steves European Christmas !
How was your night with your neighbor friends last night? Any plans for tonight?
That is adorable! Sounds like a fun night! Glad U had a fun time! Speaking of a cocktail- after your recommendation I did pick up some snowdrift vanilla Porter – haven't tried it yet!It was fun, thanks!
They looked at our Christmas decorations, dropped off a wreath that my girlfriend made me, and had a festive cocktail, visited for a bit. It was nice! =]

It's all relative. It was around 34 but the windchill was in the 20s this morning when I went out to run and I was FREEZING. Yet last winter some mornings when it was about 8 degrees I felt WARM because compared to the temperatures we had some days that actually was!8°? At this point that is hard to even imagine! Brrrr I was freezing at 25° this morning!

Thank you!!Glad you had a fun night!
Love the wreath, such a fun idea!
Our friend Tracy was on the Prairie Home Companion Christmas show tonight with his antique street-organ. It was streamed live on YouTube, so we got to see him! It was great---they put the spotlight on him while he cranked the organ to play "O Come All Ye Faithful." It was beautiful, and you could hear a pin drop. He got a nice hand from the audience. The whole show was great!
As for Gloria---they will be running "The Under-Pup" at the hospital again next week for those who missed it, plus a Christmas short film she was in! She says it' st he best medicine she could have!
had a very full day...farmers market this morning then work. After work dropped my gingerbread house off at the "To Stratford With Love" dinner venue. http://www.simpledreams.org/to-stratford-with-love-dinner.html
went home changed and then picked up the family to go to the dinner and enjoy visiting with so many people I know there. The house was given to a young woman who was celebrating her birthday today.
Now I am home and have to New York style cheese cakes in the oven, one for tomorrow to take to my brothers place and the other for Christmas.
when that is baked...still 20 min to go, I can actually go to bed !
Read through the posts here quick, Brent, praying for the whole family ((((HIUGS)))))
Thanks, HmG!!
We just watched Scrooged, one of our favorites.
Glad it was a productive day!
So happy to hear you had a nice time at the party.
It's great that Maggie had her family to keep her company, too. That always makes it easier to be away
Enjoy the rest of your night!
Hugs!
