Merry Christmas, everyone!

I hope you all have had a wonderful Christmas morning. What a magical day! Kim and I had a splendid first Christmas together with my family. Last night, we had my brother, his wife, her father, and a few members of his side of the family came over for our Christmas (Eve) dinner! We'd never had turkey dinner and everything on Christmas Eve before, but my brother works today at 6pm, so we had to change our plans a little. Even if it was different, it was still delicious and we had a wonderful time.

Santa was quite good to Kim and I this year. I received plenty of clothes for running, a few games, and much more! Don't worry, Simon even made it out very well. He had a stocking full of goodies and toys. Of course, he also loved all the wrapping paper, too!

Thank you for yet another wonderful year, MMC! I am sorry that I have been a little more absent than I would prefer in the past week or so. I've been super busy with plenty of things. Going to Cornwall for Kim's grandfather's wake and funeral was certainly the most difficult thing I experienced all year... and the timing did not help, either. Thank you for al the well wishes and support earlier, too.

Finally, Kim and I have been keeping something secret since December 5th - when we went to Alight at Night in Morrisburg, Ontario. At the end of our adventure, I proposed. Kim said "yes," and after 9.5 years and living together for 7 of those, we are engaged and will be getting married in 2017. Until December 23rd, only her family knew. We wanted to keep it a secret and surprise my side of the family when we came to the Sault. Initially, it was suppose to be December 19th, but the funeral delayed everything until the 23rd. Either way, we are very excited! Hopefully the photo below shows up.

Merry Christmas, everyone!!

Merry Christmas, MMC!!!

I wasn't able to get on yesterday, so here I am today.

It's the greatest day of the year, we are with family enjoying the day watching Ralphie on TV. We have watched the marathon almost all day, just never get sick of this movie.
I hope you all are enjoying this glorious Christmas Day 2015.

Merry Christmas, friends!

CONGRATS BRENT!!!! Fabulous news!!!! So so so happy for you both! I hope this next year of preparations goes well for you all. I've only been married for a year and 2 months, but I wouldn't trade it for the world. Married life is great--I hope you all enjoy your Christmas all the more this year and celebrate well! Merry Christmas!

Merry Christmas to each and every one of you! You've enriched my life so much this year. Our presents are opened (lots of simple wonderful treasures--we bought my Mom Elton John tickets though and she LOVED it!), and my dad's side is coming over soon--say a prayer or send good thoughts--they tend to be a LITTLE hard to handle.:confused:;)

My husband is at work at the hospital for the next 28 hours. Say prayers for him as he works too!

Have an amazing, festive, merry Christmas night folks! Celebrating with you all (while I pretend my family isn't being rude hehe). See you on here later--and CAN'T wait to countdown with you all again starting tomorrow! :)

Thank you, Brad! It's quite fun. We've had fun thus far... Still about a year and 8 months until our date, but we will enjoy it all until then... and after, too!

Hope you are all having a great Christmas 2015. I've been sitting here for the last 15-20 minutes thinking back and reflecting on this Christmas season...which doesn't technically end till we hit the new year but...just thinking about all the awesome fun and moments I've had over the past few weeks (and even months) is just amazing. I hope you all have a great rest of your Christmas Day!
