I have the same schedule next week. 2 days of work Monday and Tuesday and then off for 5 days in a row (which for me is very rare to take that many days off).
Same here. After New Year's, I probably won't have a vacation day until we actually go on vacation, probably during the summer. Six or seven months with no vacation days ... thinking of that gives me PCBs!

Agreed!
I will be extremely busy until July, and probably won't be able to have time off until the summer.

I'm noticing less people saying they have the PCB's on this site than in past years. I'm glad if that is the case...and I think the biggest reason it may be the case is because of this website.
For me, PCBs will probably come along when I'm back in the everyday world, where most everybody is through with Christmas and seem to be glad of it. Packing away decorations is sobering, too, but for me they lose some of their cheerful influence after the New Year. Then it's time to pack them away to recharge their magic for the next Christmas---which, I remind myself, is already on the way.

That's a really long stretch. After New Years Day my next holiday isn't until Memorial Day. I don't get Presidents Day or anything but I will take a couple of 3 day weekends before that maybe in March or April when the weather gets nicer. It's gonna be a long stretch for many of us but we'll help each other through it.

Oh yeah...and lots of stuff to look forward to throughout the year...I always say March 1 is the day of hope. The only 2 months I could do without are Jan/Feb. Once we hit March I feel like we're out of the worst of the winter (mostly) and spring is coming, then warmer weather, longer days, summer time, fun and then...the "bers" return with everything we love the most.

Enjoy your well-earned week off. Thank you for being on duty for 51 weeks of the year to keep us reminded of our milestones and pointed toward Christmas!
My pleasure.
Hope to continue for many years to come, "if the fates allow".

It is a sort of gloomy day here in Ohio but I put the tree on and it takes the gloom away. I am enjoying the quiet of such a day. Blessings to all.
Enjoy your beautiful tree, and the peaceful day. Hugs & blessings to you! ❤️

Hey World! Happy Day after Christmas!!! Boxing Day here in the UK and things remain festive until after New Year. All our decorations will be up until 12th night (which I can never get right - is it the 5th or 6th of January?!) Anyway, the festive season is still in full swing here. I can never quite understand why the American radio stations just quit Christmas as soon as the 25th has passed and it's quite depressing seeing people write that their decorations are all down by the 26th - why???!!!!!!!! I start work tomorrow in that I have a wedding at 3pm and then back into the office on Monday - Thursday then off again until a week on Tuesday. There's so much to look forward to - plans to make, trips to take, playlists to organise........it's non-stop. I honestly don't think that 364 days will be enough time............ :-)

Merry Saturday/Boxing Day everyone!! My PCB comes from the fact that for the past 6 years I've been trying to find traditions that fulfill me like my old ones did (major life changing event in '09). Still working on it, but coming home to MMC, helping with Kringle Radio, and starting a new tradition with my sister is helping! Also, the fact that we have Family Chirstmas tonight on the Mrs side of the family is helping keep my PCB at bay! Thanks everyone for being such good Christmas friends and helping me celebrate Christmas and keep the PCB's at bay! See you all around the forums!!

I'll have the usual holidays when the office is closed, but no vacation days till summer.
My pleasure.

I hope you will, too!

Merry Christmas, Maureen!
Happy Boxing Day!
It is sad how quickly Christmas goes away here.
Enjoy your time off, and all of the fun that comes along with it!
Cheers :)
xx
