It has been a very difficult night, and we are all exhausted.
But at the same time it was lovely to hear all the wonderful things being said about Dorothy. So many people adored her. Not only were there friends and family there, but pretty much everyone that she ever met, she had a magical effect on [emoji173]️truly beautiful.

Hope you all enjoy the rest of your night.

We are now expecting snow and ice tonight, and I have a long trip back & forth to Tomah tomorrow, then home to Eau Claire.

Thank you, buddy.
We appreciate it.

She and I were close, and had an extra special bond because of our love for animals. She volunteered at a vet clinic and a shelter in town, and fostered many animals. The entire vet clinic is shutting down tomorrow, with the exception of emergency appointments, so the friends/staff there can attend her funeral [emoji172] Pretty amazing.

Merry Morning!

Hope you all had a good night. I ended up watching The Sound of Music and Cat on a Hot Tin Roof - two of my favourite films. Then I watched Netflix till very late, didn't go to bed till around 2am!

No plans today. We have some things we need to return but I really can't be bothered today! I think I will just stay in and do some baking. I will be in work tomorrow and from Monday I will be swamped. Better enjoy the last of the holidays today in that case

And thanks to the depth of the Season, we find ourselves already down to just two weeks until the 300-day Season Window opens to reveal the first of our 200's level count numbers.

A bit warmer yesterday (50's) but still a little chilly as we didn't get much sun.

Today has started out damp after some rain overnight.

We are at 46 degrees now, here in the capital city.

The party is for one of neighbors, that we've become good friends. They have twins that are turning 8. They're have a bowling party. We'll all have a lot of fun.

Good morning, friends. It's raining out, but the coffee is warm and it is quite in the house. I have to admit, I've grown to appreciate that time in the morning when I am the only one up and it is nice and quiet.

Going to do some cooking and work at home today. The playoffs are on and I plan on spending time watching them, but there is quite a bit to do around the house. So it looks like I will catch glimpses of the games. Regardless, I love these kinds of days.

Don't know if y'all have seen the weather, but it looks like we are all about to get cold. Brrrrrr......

My mother-in-law passed away last Sunday, after a tough battle with cancer.

I'm going to cook a nice batch of potato soup, vegetable soup, sloppy joes. I haven't made my mind up....

I will probably end up cooking two of the three so we will have food most of the week! I love crockpot cooking!
