Good evening everyone! I have decided to fly to Houston in the morning to be with my brother in the hospital until we find out what is wrong with him.I appreciate everyone prayers at this time. I have no idea how long I will be gone, I would assume a few days at the most. I will keep in touch with everyone here...I am so glad I have my Christmas family here,it makes time like this much easier! Talk to yall in the morning!

Glad you are getting to go down to offer your brother some support and so you can see how he is doing first hand. Praying for all of you.

Good morning everyone! It's very early for me and I did not sleep well. I am getting ready to go to the airport to fly to Houston, I told Brandi I will be back probably this weekend, I can't miss very much work because we have a few people out on leave too, I just wanted to pop in and say good morning, and thanks everyone for the encouragement and prayers! have a wonderful weds!

Still feeling tired this morning but I need to get moving. I have to get breakfast on the table and pack lunches for the girls. I have a few errands to run this morning and the dogs have a groomer appointment later this afternoon. Other than that I'll be working on my daily chores. That's about it for me. I hope everyone is well and has a wonderful day!!!

Hope you can get some rest later today, HMG!!!! Good luck getting everything done and I hope the girls have fun at the groomers!!!

Cold yesterday, but with quite a bit less wind. Sunny, too.
Perhaps today will be warmer as well.
For now, we have started off the day at another chilly 28 degrees here in our little piece of the MMC Nation.

Feel like I should reintroduce myself! I'm sorry to have missed several weeks around here.
I felt like the month of January flew by and I spent many days taking care of my grandsons and also organizing my home. It looked a little disastrous after this season.
I still need to get in the basement and put things away properly.
I hope all is well for you folks and I hope to catch up on your comings and goings.

Evening friends! I got home a little earlier that usual this evening and I am just doing a couple light odds and ends, just before dinner. Speaking of dinner, tonight, It Looks like spaghetti and Mea-ta-balls with a side order of Garlic Bread...Yummy, Yummy, Yummy! I just love Italian~

I haven't been on here since this morning, because I unexpectedly had to go to a client and do some field work. Good thing about that was, I finished up early and came home early. Like that!!!!

Nice that you were able to get home a little early. Hope you enjoyed your night...and your Italian meal! Mmm

Yeah, I saw that too … they aren't quite sure yet how or when the two storms might link up. It's not just that we're sick of snow. They're running out of places to dump the snow that has been plowed … and the MBTA (subway/streetcar/commuter rail system) is running at diminished capability because the snow and extreme cold are causing breakdowns … and the snowdrifts are narrowing streets, blocking sight lines, and causing gridlock around Boston. Here at home, I realized today that I wouldn't be able to rake snow off my roof even if I managed to put the snow rake together, because I can't even walk out into the yard to use it---the piles of snow plowed off our driveway are too high to get through or over!! If I COULD get into the yard, the snow would be about waist-high and it would be impossible for me to move around and use the rake. More snow coming is doggone serious business.

Good evening everyone! I just got a phone call on my lunch hour from Brandi saying that my brother that lives in Houston,Tx was just admitted into the hospital for tests, so I gave him a call there at the Hospital and they think he could have prostate cancer that is what our father and grandfather died of, so of course we are all worried sick, so Please keep him in your prayers! Man what a bummer of a day, I hope everyone is having a good day though, I know most people are sick of the snow by now, but I am still holding out hope of a west coast snow storm before spring!

Good evening everyone. I'm exhausted, can't wait to get in to bed. It's been a long day. I woke up with a headache, hate when that happens. I slipped on the ice getting out of my car at work (I'm ok, it could have been a lot worse) We had several kids come in to school even though they were sick. One of them sneezed all over me during snack time, while she had a mouth full of crackers. I had to go to the bathroom and pick Goldfish out of my hair. So gross. But I'm kind of laughing about it already. No wonder I've been sick since I started working there. My oldest had a doctor appointment after school and we got hung up there for hours. I had to pick up pizza on the way home because I ran out of time to cook dinner for my youngest who had a four hour class this evening. Then I had to go to the supermarket in the dark. I could barely push the cart full of groceries through the slushy parking lot. Groceries are all put away now and I'm finally done for the day. My husband and his brother went out to dinner and now they're at the Islander game. He's sending me pictures but I'm not feeling very happy for him right about now, lol. Wish I was there. I'm going to try and relax for a little bit while I wait for the girls to get home, it's still really icy out there. Won't be able to relax until they're all in and are safe & sound. Thanks for letting me vent. I'm sure tomorrow will be better!

Good evening,

I can't believe it took me until after 10pm to get here on my day off. I am exhausted.
I started out by using the roof rake to get the snow off the roof, you would think it is an easy job but wow it kills your arms, and walking in snow that is up to my thighs it was a tiring job.
We are now 100% de-Christmassed inside, everything that was left came down today and is packed away until November.
Besides all that I did my laundry, brought JP to scouts, made dinner for the boys, and made their lunches and snacks for school tomorrow.
I am going to get some sleep, back to work tomorrow for my 10-7 shift.

Good Morning, MMC!!!!! It's going to be a cold day here with another clipper heading our way. It looks like we could see 2 to 3 inches of snow this afternoon or if the trend holds true, a slight dusting. I don't have to much going on.
