Thanks!!! I've got the Santa's all down and packed away. I'm okay with them being all packed away. I have a couple that stay out all year in my bedroom and most of them are in my bedroom closet in clear tote's. So when I open the door to it to get my clothes out, i see them.



She had spotted a rather large snake in her attic!!!!

I will keep some out in my room all year, but the remaining will be packed up until November.

Merry Morning!

Hope you all had a good night. I ended up watching The Sound of Music and Cat on a Hot Tin Roof - two of my favourite films. Then I watched Netflix till very late, didn't go to bed till around 2am!

No plans today. We have some things we need to return but I really can't be bothered today! I think I will just stay in and do some baking. I will be in work tomorrow and from Monday I will be swamped. Better enjoy the last of the holidays today in that case

I watched Fiddler on the Roof yesterday. Sound of Music is also one of my favorite movies.
I have today and tomorrow off and then work almost every day next week, only 4 hour days so no extra hours.

we were at wallmart this morning and all the Christmas things are 75% off now, so many deals so little $ !
that storm is going through here now, gone from snow to ice rain, I have frosted windows now.

Rite Aid is still at 50% off, I checked again today.

A bit warmer yesterday (50's) but still a little chilly as we didn't get much sun.
Today has started out damp after some rain overnight.
We are at 46 degrees now, here in the capital city.

Good morning, MMC! Not a whole planned for today. We do have a birthday party planned for this evening, but until then, we're just going to stay in and enjoy the day with each other. We're supposed to eat some ice today and it's started here already.

Good morning, friends. It's raining out, but the coffee is warm and it is quite in the house. I have to admit, I've grown to appreciate that time in the morning when I am the only one up and it is nice and quiet.

Going to do some cooking and work at home today. The playoffs are on and I plan on spending time watching them, but there is quite a bit to do around the house. So it looks like I will catch glimpses of the games. Regardless, I love these kinds of days.

Don't know if y'all have seen the weather, but it looks like we are all about to get cold. Brrrrrr......

pretty miserable here, had to move the van for the plow and the road is a sheet of ice, so glad I do not have to go anywhere.

It looks like a beautiful snow globe outside right now, the snow is flying, we are in for the night so we will be warm and safe.

We did our errands this morning, we bought a Keurig, my wife has wanted one for a long time, she has been playing with it and she loves it. The coffee it brewed smelled amazing, I don't like coffee, but I may have to try liking it soon.

I will be around today, I hope you all are having a good one.

Well we just took the tree down and boxed it for the loft. This is our first artificial tree and I have to say I don't miss having to drag it out of the house to recycle That was always such a task!

I took a few more things down too and I brought the storage boxes down ready for the rest of it. I will finish up during the week.

As I a write this it is hitting me that it's all over but I am in good spirits. Kids and I have already been planning for Halloween. We want to get a Halloween tree

just took the last of our decorations down for this year, looks so bare in here.

Good Morning, MMC!!!!! It's going to be a rainy miserable day here with a high in the 40's. Then tonight the temps plummet and the rain will turn to snow. We shouldn't see to much accumulation though. Not a lot going on for me today. Just need to run to the grocery store for a few items and then it will be back home to work on taking down more Christmas stuff. My goal is to get all of my Santa's down today. Then the tree will come down tomorrow. I hope everyone is having a GREAT DAY!!!!!

Well my Santa's are all down and packed away. I really need to stop buying so many. I'm running out of places to store them!!! I might have to get a storage unit if I keep this pace up!!!

I also have all of the ornaments off of the tree. Trying to decide if I should just go ahead and take it down too. I wanted one more night with the lights but now I'm thinking I should just get it over with.

storage units would work great for keeping them safe and clean.
Leave it one more night !

Been on the run all day. Went to Target, the bank, the supermarket & the butcher. Put groceries away, straightened up the house and started laundry. Having a quick cup of coffee right now but I'm heading back out soon. My daughter has a few errands to run and she's begging me to go with her. I'll pop back in here later today.
