(More about that later.)

First things first.
Here are today's figures:
Days to the Season: 275
Days to Christmas Day: 317

Well, Guys. It's tomorrow!

Why, only the ONE QUARTER mark to Christmas Season 2015, that's what.

Wow is right!


Well, it's turned cold again. Rainy a good bit of the day yesterday as well.
It should be drier today and perhaps a bit warmer.
We have started off at 32 degrees here in central NC.


OK.
Carl wished to announce that this will be the Shispering Pines special Valentines open house this evening.
Red-frosted fired twinkies will be served (in the shape of hearts, of course) with special entertainment. I have heard that one number will be a re-creation of the scene from the Holiday Inn movie where Fred Astaire and his partner dance through the giant Valentine.
You don't supposed that Carl.......
(I don't want to think about it.)
But I DO want to come. How about you?

Good morning from frigid Wisconsin everyone!
I have a root canal today...it's been 6 months of dental work after years of TMJ so I am feeling a little nervous today, but I know that this is minor stuff compared to some of the things going on for others on our prayer requests.
I hope everyone has a really nice day- thinking of you all!

Good morning everyone! It's a balmy 35F right now, I have not looked yet this morning but as of yesterday still no snow on the horizon, but I still have my fingers crossed. After reading crowns update for today on the countdown it comforts me to know we are way under 300 on days to the season. I just got up to get Brandi off and feed the boys and dogs, now I think all of us boys and dogs are going to go back to finish our naps off! Have a great morning everyone!

We have already reached our high of 24, and temps are dropping quickly. Blowing snow & high winds are helping that along.

I am off tonight and willing to find out what Carl is up to this time !
So all of those with a significant other are allowed to bring them along this time for a special gift from Carl, he announced this while winking, so I would use caution when you accept
For us single folk he has something extra special and he announced that with even more winking...use even more caution!

[Holiday]

Hey everyone! Just getting into work and I am already tired! We got some of the test results in this morning from my brother in the hospital and he has a bladder infection for one thing, and also some prostate swelling but it's not cancer which was what I was worried about, they already have him on some medications for the infections and he should be able to go home in the next few days, I am relieved to say the least...thanks for the prayers and the well wishes everyone! I hope everyone is having a good day today!

What awesome news! Such a relief!! I hope the antibiotics work quickly so they can kick him out of there! xx

 

[Holiday]

Good evening! I just got back from making the trip down to the mailbox tonight and no ice... Good! The salt, sun and wind, did it's thing, I can now go to work tomorrow morning.

I spent the last couple of hours connecting all the power to everything that I ran yesterday, installed new switches and receptacles, re-installed the exhaust fan and lights. Then threw the breaker...Yes, everything is working, no breakers blew and so I can say two thumbs up....

Now it's time to clean up my messes, patch the walls, and start spackling....

Sounds like a successful night! Hope you got that mess cleaned up!!! :grin:

Oh no, New England, Accuweather is not your best friend...Here comes another one for Thursday:

I am heading out to work in a few, watching some Christmas music videos that I recorded on Christmas Day from VH1. I had 5 hours worth of videos, but 3 hours were erased during the DVR erasegate that happened here last month. Neither boy has admitted taking part of that yet. cheesy
I should probably get my butt moving, got to let Turtle out before I head out.
