Good evening everyone...hope all are able to have a relaxing weekend free of weather woes and other worries.
We are going to keep it low key, but weather permitting, our son will drive home for a visit this weekend with his sibs and nephews. That means Sunday brunch and some family face time.
Enjoy your evening!

Good evening, momnan! Hope your son is able to make it home this weekend! Enjoy the family time this weekend!

Good evening! Thank you for all of the get well wishes for my daughter. I appreciate it very much. I spoke with her general physician earlier and they still think she has an inflammation of the esophagus. That would explain the difficulty swallowing food but I'm not sure about the chest & back pain. Unless it's possible she may be feeling referred pain. I don't know. I just hope the medicine works soon. She's very uncomfortable and can not eat. We can't think of anything that would have caused this to happen in the first place. Anyway, I'm so tired I feel like I could sleep for a week. My youngest went in to the city and needs me to pick her up from the train station later. I hope she doesn't come in too late. Oh and I wanted to mention that the kittens appointments went well. Stitches are out and they're both raring to go. I'm going to sit and watch the rest of the Islander game now, hopefully I will stay awake. I hope everyone had a nice day and enjoys the rest of the evening!

Hope the medicine helps her too. I can't imagine the inflammation would be causing the chest and back pain either. I'll keep her in my prayers. Hope you guys get some answers.

Hope you have a great evening!

Good Evening, Sugar!!!!! Hope you had a good night!!!

Well, while everyone is sleeping here, and by the time you read this, hopefully, I will be asleep!

I hope you all had a good yesterday and I wish for all of you an even better one today!

Another long night, but they seem to get easier as I am going along, not sure if that's because I did the hardest part first or I am just getting used to the up and down ladder thing all night long.... I will turn right around and head back out there tomorrow afternoon, once I get up and get some coffee in me, and get up on their roof during the daylight hours. Sure don't want to be trudging around on some snow covered roof at night, that's for sure....:o

We are supposed to be going out for a family dinner tomorrow night at some fancy-smancy restaurant (with Lisa's parents and all of her Aunts and Uncles). I wonder if jeans, flannel shirt and my NRA camouflaged hat would be proper attire, while I'm eating my lobster?
Well, at least if I get some butter droplets on my shirt, they won't stand out and will most likely just blend in.....

I for one believe you can never truly enjoy a meal unless you you get it from ear to ear. You may look like "how the piggies eat," but you are satisfied. cheesy

*?/@#!&^$**^$#@@! (that means - ouch!!!)

I just stomped by toe on a dag-burn case of soda.....That was smart!!!! That will teach me to be rooting around in the pantry with the lights off....It was a case of the 2:30am munchies.....But, I did find the soft, chewy, chocolate chip cookies~

Chocolate chip cookies are worth a sore toe. cheesy

I love the movie, I love the game. The voice samples from the movie are some of the best parts.

not a lot of time to dig through posts and I see that gabulldawg has not posted since telling us something was wrong and he was going to hospital. Has anyone heard anything from him or about him? Very concerned about him and praying all is well.

I hope we hear something soon.

Thank you so much.
Sugar, we know someone who had very similar symptoms and it turned out to be their gallbladder. We were in the ER from 8:30 to 3:00am and still don't have an answer. They did another chest xray and a few sonograms. They're thinking it has something to do with her esophagus but they're not sure. She needs to see a gastroenterologist now, I'm going to call this morning. I hope someone will see her soon considering she is in pain and can not eat.

She will continue to be in my thoughts.

What kind of a tablet did you decide on? (Apologies if you mentioned it already...I missed it.)

The pinball app sounds like a lot of fun!

I am loving the app, it is an exact digital re-creation of the table I use to play.

My Kindle Fire HD is working fine again, so I will continue to use it until it won't work anymore. I think, as of now I am leaning towards the Samsung Galaxy Tab S, I am just very impressed by that one. Who knows, when the Kindle finally craps out there may be something else that catches my eye.

TGIF, my Christmas friends!

Yesterday was Bernie's 78th birthday, so we all had supper together. We got some takeout from the local seafood place (so Mrs. Hilda didn't have to leave home), and it was pretty doggone good! I had a "Bomb Sandwich"...it's a blackened tilapia fillet in a folded pita bread sandwich with Monterey Jack cheese, peppers, onions, lettuce & tomato. Mmm, mmm, mmm! I'm ready for another! It's prolly not on my diet, but so what LOL.

I talked Nancy into taking Lulu for her follow-up exam at the vet today. I'm tired of being the bad guy.

HMG, I hope your daughter's feeling better today. I hope we hear from Dawg and Crown. Has anyone heard from Seawaters lately? Prayers for all of y'all.

I hope y'all have a great day! cheesy

Happy belated birthday to Bernie!

An icy Good Morning to everyone.
And may the power be with you!

That, of course, is a lead in to the top story around here where the snow storm (very heavy, wet snow) brought tree limbs down on power lines, cutting our power at 2:48 AM yesterday morning. It was off all day and by evening, we gave up waiting and drove to my niece's condo which did not loose power.
Just got back and will be doing lots of clearing once the snow melts!

But no matter.
On with the count.
(And a special "THANKS!" to Made for perceiving the emergency and stepping in to save the count yesterday!)

Days to the Season: 259
Days to Christmas Day: 301

And quickly, we can tell (with just a little bit of shock) that we will arrive at the 300-day Christmas Day Window TOMORROW, and the next day we begin a double-200's count.
(Wowzers, indeed!)

OK.
You have a Fabulous Friday and a Wondrous Weekend, Folks.
It's good to be back, live!

Glad you are safe!!

I can smell the 200's!!!

HAPPY FRIDAY!!!!!

Trying to catch up on all the posts ... Sorry to see so many who have family members (human and furry) with issues. Hoping all a speedy recovery.

Gabulldawg's last post has me concerned too. Hoping all is well with him and seawaters.

Crown - glad to see you have power back and thanks Made for filling in for Crown.

Hubby and I have a date night tomorrow .. dinner and shopping. Hoping to pick up a couple things for the kids Easter baskets and maybe score a Christmas gift or 2. It would seem fair to do some Christmas shopping as this weekend is also a big weekend in the countdown :-D

Sorry if I missed any other major/important happenings going on. Still havent finished catching up on reading all the posts.

Have a great day!!!

Have a great date night, good luck finding Easter and Christmas goodies for the kids.

Rest In Peace, Leonard Nimoy, aka Mr. Spock.

You provided entertainment, diversion, and more importantly, hope for the future, to a legion of Star Trek fans, myself among them, for almost 50 years. Thank you!

Bless your heart, and Live Long & Prosper.

Rest in peace.
