Good Morning, My Many Madly Merry Markers of Milestones.
THREE HUNDRED DAYS.
It's here!

The numbers:
Days to the Season: 258
Days to Christmas Day: 300

Yes, Folks. It's a Milestone Day.
And tomorrow -- a double-200's count, meaning a pace pick-up to Christmas Season 2015!


It is said that you don't fully appreciate something until you loose it.
Well, that certainly applies to power, especially during a sub-freezing winter.
So glad it's back on!
Today will be another cold one (outside, anyway) so not much snow will melt but a warming trend is set to begin shortly.
We have started out quite chilly here this morning at 27 degrees and it's supposed to remain no higher than the mid 30's all day.


Regardless of your weather, you have a Sensational Saturday, Everyone.
And enjoy your weekend to the fullest!

Happy Milestone Day! 300. The first 65, of which includes quite possibly the longest 59 days, are complete. In Canada, we now have to wait for the next month to be complete and then everything could fly by... The snow melt could take a long time!

Just popping for a quick hello. There are plenty of things to do today. As soon as Kim wakes up, we should have some breakfast and then be on our way. Temperatures are still quite chilly here. In fact, we have been at record lows all year - it has been at least -15c every day since the calendar turned 2015. It has been quite rare to even wake up in the morning and it not be at least -25c with the windchill.

It's good to see that both counts will turn to 200s tomorrow. March will be here. Soon enough, Spring will finally arrive and maybe we will have some seasonal temperatures in Canada's Capital! We shall see. Until then, I will do my best to enjoy the rest of the Canadian Winter.

Hopefully I can return later with some photos from our Milestone Day visit to Tinseltown. We'll see how it goes!!!

Just popping for a quick hello. There are plenty of things to do today. As soon as Kim wakes up, we should have some breakfast and then be on our way. Temperatures are still quite chilly here. In fact, we have been at record lows all year - it has been at least -15c every day since the calendar turned 2015. It has been quite rare to even wake up in the morning and it not be at least -25c with the windchill.

It's good to see that both counts will turn to 200s tomorrow. March will be here. Soon enough, Spring will finally arrive and maybe we will have some seasonal temperatures in Canada's Capital! We shall see. Until then, I will do my best to enjoy the rest of the Canadian Winter.

Hopefully I can return later with some photos from our Milestone Day visit to Tinseltown. We'll see how it goes!!!

It is frigid here, too. Currently, -10.

Looking forward to Spring!

Yes, I know, it's a Saturday morning, then why am I up at 4:30 this morning??? I have no idea, why on Earth, that all of a sudden, bink....my eyes open up and then the brain starts to boot up; no point on trying to back to sleep then, so I got up! I think that my body Is all screwed up at the moment with working the evening/ overnight shift. And with trying to switch myself back around to a more normal schedule, is going to have to take a couple of days. Last night, after dinner, we stopped at a store, and by the time we were getting ready to leave to come home, it hit me, I got so tired, I started feeling a little light headed, nauseas, sweaty, felt light I was going to fall over. I told Lisa to take me home. I got home and went straight to bed at 8:45 and done......I didn't wake up at all until 4:30 this morning.

I feel better, but like really weird at the moment, when my body is saying , hey, your supposed to be in bed right now, but my brain has said, get up dummy, you've slept enough already..... maybe a nap later will be in store for me?

LOL!!! I hope you can get back on schedule soon and get that nap in later!!!! Have a great weekend, Xmastidings!!!!!

Ugggghhhh, why did I do that! All I see is Ice....Ice....Ice.... in my forecast and more snow for New England again and again and again....

Well, I don't think that groundhog lied after all.....Looks like March is going to be off to an icy start!!!!

Yuck!!! Stay safe!!!! It's going to be all snow here at least.

Sleep well my good friend. Sometimes, when I look at the hours that we post, I get the feeling that you and I, are affected by the life around us syndrome. IE...when our eyes open, our brains kick on and we cannot get back to sleep, so we get up and start getting things done~

I just wonder why you guys are getting up when I'm going to bed!!! LOL!!!!

I can honestly say that I would of rather awoken a sleeping grizzly bear, than to of have just gone upstairs and woke my daughter up!!! Ewye!!! I had to get her up early, because we have to go to an adjacent county this morning and transfer her bank account from a savings and loan down there to a bank up here. And besides, I also wanted to give her some driving time, take her out to breakfast, visit my grandfather and just hang out!!!!

LOL!!!! I hope she didn't give you to much of an earful!!!!

Happy Milestone Day, MMC!!!!!! It's going to be a cold one here in central Indy with a high around 20 and snow moving in tonight. They are saying 5 to 7 inches right now. Yuck!!! Mother nature is trying to make up for her slow start I guess. Not much going on here today. Just plan on hanging out and watching some tv. I'm sure the stores will be crazy so I'm going to try and avoid them. I hope everyone is having a GREAT DAY!!!!!!!!!!!
