Just took the trash out and it is a sheet of ice out there!! Yuck!!! To make it worse, I'm out of salt. I was going to pick it up tomorrow. Hopefully I don't break anything first!!!

We had 75 degrees today. Going to be 18 on Thursday

I took down the outside stuff the other day when it was warm. Same with putting it up. I jumped on the 70 degree days.....

You know Ukrainian Christmas is on Wednesday, you could celebrate then.

He is doing better, he just started getting close our other pets again. It will probably be a while before we get another.

Goodnight, MMC friends! Back to work tonight I go. The kids also head back to school tomorrow, so it's a regular routine for us and back to lots of running around!

Pleasant evening folks...How's everyone this evening?

I've spent the greater part of my weekend, working out in the detached garage, organizing, building slelves, re-constituted an old work bench into a solid, sturdy one, complete with electrical outlets. I also took one whole side of it and totally made it into this memoribilia thing where I have home items, tools and misc stuff hanging on it like, My great-grandmothers wash board, my great-great grandfathers saws, my great uncles old sled, alot of my grandparents and great grandparent pocessions and some of my wifes grandparents stuff as well. Have you ever been to a Cracker-Barrel restaurant? Well, if you had, I did a wall exactly how they would decorate their's....It's kind of cool looking~

Ahhh, I hear the rain beating up against the windows at the moment, I saw that later on this week, like wednesday or Thursday, the temperature is only supposed to get to a high of 18 degrees.... Oh yea, winter is here now.....

Sounds like you have been busy but really productive!!!! The wall sounds great!!!

Well, today we took down our larger Christmas tree. We still have one more up and lit still as well as all of the outdoor Christmas decorations that are lit yet.

But, I have already been given notice, that it was getting time to take them down. I keep looking for a way to have an excuse to keep them up and lit. This weekends excuse was, I couldn't take them down because it was either raining or the ground is just too saturated for me to go tramping around all over it :-D.....

I hope you can keep coming up with excuses to leave them up for just a little bit longer!!!

Hmmmm how does everyone feel about Bublemas ? He has a special ,,,,, sigh. Lovemas. .... Sigh

Maybe we should all meet on 12/23 and watch a YouTube version

I say we do both!!!!!! Lets make it twice as fun!!!!

I heard he was out trying to impress the girls by telling them that he just won the Lou Ann Jefferies award on MMC. It wasn't working very well for him though.

Hi!! Haven't checked in this year yet!!! We just had my grandparents Christmas party yesterday so the celebrating has kind of ceased, although we are still decorated, etc.

I bought my first Christmas gift today! (An iron man mask for one of my boys).. So it begins!!

I'm not one for posting many comments, but I'm always here reading and listening to "A Christmas Song A Day" (MY FAVOURITE THREAD). I just wanted to say, how impressed I am with all your kindness towards each other and how you all help others with their loss and heart aches. You are all very kind individuals and truly exude what I believe to be the "True Christmas Spirit".

Thank you for all you do for others.

We like to look at ourselves as family here, we care and lookout for each other all the time.
