Good Morning from the frigid tundra of Central Indy!!!!! It's going to be a chilly one today with a high of 17 degree's. Tight now it's 5 degrees but only feels like -13. Brrr!!!! It looks like we are on track to get 4 to 6 inches of snow tonight. At least it's going to be light and fluffy they say. Of course, that means it's going to blow and drift everywhere and my shoveling efforts will be mostly in vain. Not to much going on today. I need to run to the grocery to get a few last minute supplies so I can stay holed up the rest of the week. I also need to run by the bank. I will probably wait until later this afternoon to go since they say the roads are pretty slick right now. I hope everyone is having a GREAT DAY!!!!!!!

I just wanted to say, how impressed I am with all your kindness towards each other and how you all help others with their loss and heart aches. Merry Monday dear friends.

My son is back to school today and Mr Festive is back at work. Today is usually a tough one , everything feels truly over. Thankfully I am doing ok, not really feeling the PCBs to much. The last couple weeks before Christmas were hectic and I was distracted with several things. I was terribly homesick and missing my family this Christmas. I just couldn't get past it. Mum was also quite ill over Christmas week and it pained me that I am not there. I just feel so guilty all the time and it is getting harder as she is getting older.

We missed out on a few traditions and when Christmas arrived - it took me a little by surprise and went by to quickly. This year I need to look at how I can organise things better and freshen things up a bit. I am happy for the fresh start the new year has brought.

I am listening to a few Christmas songs for the last time to close the season until I restart in November. I have some decorations still to come down but I am going to finish doing that tomorrow.

I am really thankful to have you all to come to and I think this has helped a lot in staying positive and keeping the PCBs under control.

Ok now I must do some work lol. Goodluck to everyone getting back into routine again today. Hang in there. Christmas is coming !!

First day back to school for the kids here after Christmas break. But not going to happen, winter storm is shutting things down, school buses cancelled, roads closed and all the fun stuff that goes with it. So glad I finally bought some boots last week.

Not too much going on here today, we are back to our typical routine. The kitten also has a vet appointment this morning. I'm thankful that I have another day off. I have a few things I want to get done around the house and it will be nice to not have any interruptions. I hope everyone is well and has a great day!

Speaking of wow.
Our weather was wow'ish yesterday. The temp reached almost 70.
It was wet though, with off and on again light rain. Should be clearer today, but colder.
And so it goes.
We have started off this week at 42 degrees here.

Good Monday morning, my Christmas friends!

Back to the desk this morning, with dozens of emails and voicemails waiting to be answered. To tell you the truth, I'm ready to get back to some business as usual. Bring it on!

Nancy still hasn't budged on the super-cool couch, so I'll probably have to settle for the semi-cool couch. It doesn't have LED lights and laptop charging stations with USB ports, but it still has electric recline. :-D

Well, it's back to real life tomorrow, the alarm is set, lunches made, clothes are ready. I don't want to go back, the last 2 weeks have been just we needed. At least I have Tuesday off. cheesy I have to really focus on finding something new, I can't go through another year of whining and complaining about my job.

Just laying in bed, watching The Polar Express before sleep, might as well end Christmas vacation with something Christmassy.

I agree - everything went so fast. I totally enjoyed being off work between the holidays....and now it's back to the grind. I haven't even started taking anything down in the house - and I'm dreading it! My PCB's haven't set in yet, I'm still enjoying. Probably by the end of the week, I'll be ready for things to get back to a norm around the house??
