Merry Monday dear friends.

My son is back to school today and Mr Festive is back at work. Today is usually a tough one , everything feels truly over. Thankfully I am doing ok, not really feeling the PCBs to much. The last couple weeks before Christmas were hectic and I was distracted with several things. I was terribly homesick and missing my family this Christmas. I just couldn't get past it. Mum was also quite ill over Christmas week and it pained me that I am not there. I just feel so guilty all the time and it is getting harder as she is getting older.

We missed out on a few traditions and when Christmas arrived - it took me a little by surprise and went by to quickly. This year I need to look at how I can organise things better and freshen things up a bit. I am happy for the fresh start the new year has brought.

I am listening to a few Christmas songs for the last time to close the season until I restart in November. I have some decorations still to come down but I am going to finish doing that tomorrow.

I am really thankful to have you all to come to and I think this has helped a lot in staying positive and keeping the PCBs under control.

Ok now I must do some work lol. Goodluck to everyone getting back into routine again today. Hang in there. Christmas is coming !!

Great way to end the season.
I truly hope you can find a job that will bring you contentment. It has been a tough year for you at work. Praying things get better.

Thank you, my problem is I have been there for 14 years and the comfort level is high. Especially with all the vacation time I have earned, and the knowledge I have gained. The breaking away from that is what holds me back, at least I have a job and I can be choosy until I find something perfect.

Good Morning MMC !!

First day back to school for the kids here after Christmas break. But not going to happen, winter storm is shutting things down, school buses cancelled, roads closed and all the fun stuff that goes with it. So glad I finally bought some boots last week.

Have to leave for work in a half hour so I will talk to you all later, have a fantastic day !

Good evening!
Today was a good day, I had a few things to do around the house and I got it all done. I also ran to the outlets this afternoon to look for a new jacket. I found something that I liked but the pickings were slim. There will probably be bathing suits out in the stores soon. It was a chilly day to be walking around there but they still had Christmas music playing throughout the outlets and that made me very happy. The kitten had another vet appointment this morning, she's growing like a weed and gained another pound. She got a couple of immunizations and she seems a little bit off this evening. She's not hungry and doesn't feel like playing but hopefully she'll sleep it off and feel better tomorrow. That's about it for me, back to work tomorrow morning. Looking forward to it, I miss those little ones. I'll pop in tomorrow morning before I leave. Enjoy the rest of the evening! Goodnight!

Well I'm going to try and go to bed early tonight since tomorrow is going to be a cold long day of shoveling. Just a dusting out there now but the heavy stuff will be moving in soon and then it will be an inch an hour until tomorrow morning. Yuck!!!!

Good Monday morning, my Christmas friends!

Back to the desk this morning, with dozens of emails and voicemails waiting to be answered. To tell you the truth, I'm ready to get back to some business as usual. Bring it on!

Nancy still hasn't budged on the super-cool couch, so I'll probably have to settle for the semi-cool couch. It doesn't have LED lights and laptop charging stations with USB ports, but it still has electric recline. :-D

Good morning gang!! Happy Monday!!! Back to the grind. We have to work FIVE days this week. Yikes!!! I think I can, I think I can...

I'm feeling a little out of the loop around here, so maybe I'll have some time to catch up today! xx

I went to leave for work this morning ~ dead battery in the car. Go figure! Thankfully our battery charger had enough charge left in it to start the car...after my hubby walked me though how to do it over the phone. :lol:

We have a winter storm warning in effect from tonight through tomorrow morning. They are saying 4-6" of snow possible. xx Make it enough that we get a snow day tomorrow please. Ha ha ha!! It is FREEEZING, bitter cold today!!! :cold:
