I've been thinking about CanineMom so much this week. I miss our conversations during Lent. She was always so concerned about me and my family. I know how she would be comforting me now and definitely praying and reminding me of Saints and miracles. I am positive I am not the only one who misses her. I even dreamed about her this week. She was in Heaven, but I could still talk to her as if she were still here with us. It was a very comforting dream.

She is sorely missed here by many, she cared so deeply for all of us and always gave her time to listen to us.

I miss her tons...

I snapped a picture from the inside of my office at home. It is still snowing and you just have to love the first day of spring... The robins are probably wondering - did we take the wrong turn somewhere.....

Just a last glimpse of the beautiful snow until next winter.

Grandmother Update: Granny passed away early Saturday morning. Funeral was Monday & burial Tuesday. I haven't had time to get back here to update you all. I appreciate all your thoughts & prayers for our family over the past few weeks.

We are getting back into a normal groove today, finally. The weekend is packed with birthday parties & car maintenance on Friday & Saturday & church on Sunday. I'm still exhausted, with no relief in site! Hopefully I can get my Sunday afternoon nap in this weekend.

Christmas sighting: Yesterday there was a Christmas commercial on television for a local business. It showed the "Santa train" that goes through rural Kentucky & Tennessee, throwing out gifts to children. DD & I were both confused!

I am sorry for your loss, I will keep you and your family in my thoughts.

what a busy day at work! Customers all in a great mood, the warm sunshine on this first day of spring works wonders.
I would however like to slug a coworker only that would not be in keeping with the Christmas spirit.

Supposed to get some spring snow tomorrow, hoping it will not be to much. I would like to keep my boots in storage.

I am sure we all have co-workers we would like to slug sometimes, just glad you didn't act on it. cheesy

I am barely awake, this getting up earlier than usual thing is hard. the birds look at me when I go outside and say "What the tweet are you doing up this early?" cheesy I have another week of this to get through.

LC's birthday was a quiet affair tonight, we gave him a Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtle, a couple nutcrackers and a DVD. His nutcracker collection is now up to 12, he loves them so much.

Just perusing MMC, and listening to some Quo before the pillow beckons.
