Took an hour for them to get mom a room and then had to get her settled in with all of the new nurses and answer all of their questions. Finally getting home a little after 3 am. I see a lot of coffee in my future today.

It was a rough night, inventory was a disaster. I got out a lot later than I was suppose to. Just glad to be home.



I have my day off tomorrow. I am hoping to get a nice day of resting up.

Well it took them long enough for them to get her released including the neuro wanting to readmit her after finally showing up when he said he wasn't going too. We are home now though and mom is settled in. I have a few things to get caught up on and then I will be back to get caught up.

We have a few inches of snow on the ground, and more on the way. The roads seem slippery, and I can hear sirens on the highway,. Going to be a fun commute.

Good morning early birds! I get to slow down this morning just a tad and not rush off to the office first thing this morning. On my way in to work in about an hour from now, I have to stop by a clients office and have a meeting with them at 7.

Good morning!
I have an appointment for a physical later this morning. I'm fasting for bloodwork and I'm getting cranky, lol. I'm hungry but I really, really want a cup of coffee right now. Wah!
I forgot to tell you guys that I decided to work through the summer. I increased my hours and I'll be working Monday through Friday. If I decide it's too much then I can cut back in September when the regular school year begins. I hope it works out.

This is a day off for me, hoping to get some baking done only discovered I need yeast....time for a walk I guess there is a grocery store about 2 blocks from here, but they are so expensive. But making bread with out it is rather hard, so I guess I better go before the ice rain comes. (or I could just get my son to go and get it :lol

And indeed -- one, lone, solitary day separates us from the 1/4 Milestone marker to Christmas Day.
(Believe it or not, Ripley!)


Another nice day yesterday with just a touch of coolness.
Had a nice 24th birthday celebration for my older niece who will be starting an accounting job in
Charlotte late this summer. Will be sorry to see her leave but she has an excellent opportunity with
one of the top accounting firms in the country.

Today should continue to be nice with possible rain tonight or tomorrow.
We stand just over 48 degrees here at this hour.


Hope to see you at the 'Pines this evening to learn what our favorite camel has in store for us.
A little wild, possibly.
Maybe a bit crazy.
Even scary, perhaps.
But ALWAYS entertaining!
