Good Morning, MMC!!!!! It's going to be another beautiful day here with a high of 61 and the sun shining brightly!!!! I don't have anything really planned for today. Going to try to spend some time out on the porch enjoying the weather. Might even take a walk. I do need to spend a little bit of time typing out a letter for mom to send to the lawyer too. That shouldn't take to long though. I hope everyone is having a GREAT DAY!!!!!!!!!!!!

My goodness was I busy yesterday evening after I got home, as soon as I got home, I sat down for just 5 minutes, and then the Mrs had me going, She had me jumping here doing this, had me jumping over there doing that, You see, she had off yesterday and started a new project of getting ready to paint our son's bedroom, so she was waiting with baited breath for me to get home, because she had a list.... It was, help me move this, spackle that, take the ceiling fan down, take the curtain rod brackets off the wall, etc...after 3 hours, I was tired, didn't want to be doing that, so I sarcastically asked her....

Bah ha ha...I bet that went over well!!! Have a great day!

Incredible.
The first quarter of the year already gone.

Tomorrow -- April first.
This year -- it falls on a Wednesday.
And I don't need to tell you what THAT means!!

But before we consider that shuddering thought, let's calm down and look at this:

Down now to 26 days now until the one-third Milestone to Christmas Day 2015.


A bit warmer here yesterday than was Sunday.
Today should be warmer still -- and dry.
(A nice combination, eh?)
Today has begun at 41 degrees here in the capital city.


OK. Just in case the above reference escaped you, be aware -- be VERY aware -- that tomorrow's Pines Day weekly open house falls on April Fools Day.

Good morning, everyone!

I'm back at my normal school, but only for the morning. It's a little disappointing to not have a full day, at least it is work! My classes thus far have been great! I can't complain.

It's really starting to feel like Spring in Ottawa. The snow is nearly all gone from my front lawn (it faces south), and the temperatures are around freezing. Thursday calls for temperatures reaching 12c! That's in the 50s! I may have to wear shorts on Good Friday!

I am still "teaching" right now, so I should get back to class. It is Science, and they know that I'm not that great at it. I can always help a little though.

Good Tuesday morning, my Christmas friends!

After the long weekend of the ballet, E still had dance practice last night. So, we were away from home till 9PM again. I ordered the online deal from Pizza Hut on the way home, though, and that was pretty good!

She has to go back again today, but earlier than I get off work. So Nancy's taking her, and I'm going to work on the Camaro. I think all we have to do is put transmission fluid and oil in, and hook up the battery...and we can crank it!

Still, it doesn't have tires, or windshield or anything to make it road-worthy, but it'll be cool to get it cranked!

Howdy folks! It's been over a month since I logged in last. Way too long! We had our couple of weeks of winter snow/ice at the end of February and beginning of March, now the temps are up and may see temps as high as 90 degrees this week - Yuck! 70-80's would be fine, not 90!!!

It was fun to tune into TV this week and watch Home Alone 2, made me think of you all and want to sign in to say hi!

Our membership to the Arboretum expires today and planning to renew it. We have gotten our moneys worth! We were out there yesterday and it is absolutely beautiful there, lots of pretty colors blooming!

Funny I log in here and people are talking about the movie Frozen! Gave me a chuckle! Yes, QVC ruined it for me too. :lol: I am sure I will watch the movie sometime, I might enjoy it!

Lunch was so nice - I took Gracie for a walk & hung clothes on the line. Didn't even need a coat. I love it! Was hard to come back to work again!

Tonight we have a family meeting at my sisters - not really looking forward to that. Planning to put Moms house in us kids' names. What a PITA! But it's a good idea! :-?

That's about all that's going on around here. If Jim is home from work in time before the meeting I'm going to grill out marinated chicken breasts & I bought some corn on the cob! 1st of the year! :-D
