Good Wednesday morning, my Christmas friends!

Happy Pinesday, too!

Ok, we're not as close to cranking the car as I thought. I spent 2 hours running new fuel lines form the tank to the pump, and installing the dipstick spouts for the transmission and oil. We need to wire up the starter to the battery, and install the electric fans on the radiator.

THEN we might be ready. LOL

Overcast here, with an expected high of 80°. They're talking about sunny and 85° tomorrow! :o

I hope y'all have a great day! cheesy

Not too much going on here today. The dogs have a groomer appointment this morning. I have a couple of quick errands to run while they are there. Other than that I'll just be working on some chores around the house. Spring break has begun at the preschool, I don't go back to work until April 14th!

I hope everyone is well and has a wonderful day!

Hope the girls do well at their appointment today. You'll havers share pictures!

Enjoy your spring break and your day!

Good Morning, Fabulously Fantastic Friendly Fools.

Ah!
Beware!
'Tis the First of April.
Be on your toes, especially if you are planning a visit to the Shispering Pines this evening! More on that below.

But first, the count must be addressed:
Days to the Season: 226
Days to Christmas Day: 268

Barely over 3 1/2 weeks left until the 1/3 marker to Christmas Day, as we move right along through our Milestone chart.

Beautiful weather was had here yesterday.
Our high was in the low 70's, there was no rain, only gentle breezes and plenty of sun.
(Oh! And no humidity to speak of either.)
"It was the best of times......"
Today has commenced at 52 degrees here in central NC.

OK.
A word of warning if you are going to the 'Pines tonight:
Carl is in his element.
I repeat.
CARL IS IN HIS ELEMENT.
This is his thing. This is what he lives for.
All I can say is - KEEP YOUR EYES OPEN the whole time you are there.
(Even the fired twinkies may hold surprises!)
But don't worry. Carl doesn't have a mean streak in his body and everything will be done in fun.
(Um........so far as I know.)

Have a Wonderful Wednesday, Fellow Fools.
(Christmas Fools, of course -- the best kind!)

Thanks, Crown! Happy Pines Day!

Those old fashioned trees with the real candles are beautiful. I would be so afraid to have one though.

I agree!

I have a British documentary from the 1980s about Christmas. They talk to an elderly man who was a footman in one of the great manors (think Downton Abbey). One of his jobs was to walk around the Christmas tree when the candles are lit, looking for candles that were burning down and extinguishing them (with a wet sponge on the end of a long pole) before they burned short enough to set fire to a branch. The filmmakers even set up a tree with candles, and he walked around it checking branches and dousing candles as he used to when he was young. That always fascinated me.

That is really interesting!

I can just imagine the beautiful estate, too!

If I recall correctly, it was Longleat House. The whole documentary is very interesting! The history of Christmas from the UK point of view.

Wow, stunning!! I'll have to read more about it!
Thank you for sharing~

For your April Fool's Day enjoyment---one of my favorite pranks!

[youtube_browser]tVo_wkxH9dU[/youtube_browser]

We knew the man who wrote the script for this---the late Tony Hawes, a lovely, funny man who later married Stan Laurel's daughter.

home with a rather sick LittleCS. She was taken to hospital by ambulance this morning with severe dizzyness. She has beguine vertigo doctor says.
He gave her some meds to help and has to take gravol for nausea. She is finally sleeping for awhile and hopefully is feeling better. She needs to have some physio to help release crystals in her ear cannal which is causing all this trouble.

Awe! So sorry to hear that! My Dad had Vertigo. Did they mention or do the Epley Maneuver on her? I don't know why more doctors don't talk about this, but they will if you ask. My Dad went to an ENT specialist to have this done a few times, but you can do it at home. After we realized we could do it ourselves, he never went back to the ENT for it. There are many videos of it on youtube, but here's one:

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=7ZgUx9G0uEs

Good luck! Hope she is better quick!

I took this at the Dallas Arboretum yesterday. This is one reason we want to renew our membership, the scenery there changes all the time. The place is beautiful!

Beautiful!!! Can't wait to see flowers blooming again!

Glad you had a good lunch break, Holiday!!!

Soooooo cute!

Ohhhh my, what a long day today!!!! Good evening dear friends, we are quickly watching this Tuesday coming to a close. Well, I hope you are all enjoying your evenings.

Me, trying to, once my honey do list for the night stops, I got home and right after dinner, I had to break out the tools and fix a broken pipe on the sink upstairs in one of the kids bathrooms. I get it all apart and it's the same common problem where the hard water just wipes out anything that it comes in contact with. It's 13 years of past neglect of the water system that I have been chasing my tail around trying to get it all repaired. There was no water softener system on the house for years and when it was installed, it was never maintained properly. Now that I own the house, you know darn well, that I will and do have the water system just right with a ph level of 7 (IE...Neutral) which is what you want!

Anyhow, I repaired the plumbing on the sink and it is working good as new. Now the wife is calling me upstairs for me to re-install the supply and return air grilles back on the wall.....Ahhhhh yes, a hubbies job is never done....Be right back!

Hope you were able to get everything done!!! Work work work.... :D

Good evening, friends! Winding down for the night and going to take a nap before work.

Hope you all enjoy the rest of the night! Talk to you tomorrow!

I hope everyone is doing well tonight.

Hope you enjoyed the movie!!! Sounds like a good night! Now have a great day!

It's still 61 degrees here! Har is loving it, too.

 So true....

Good evening,

I am running out of charge both on the computer and myself. I was trying get caught up but tomorrows another day.

LC regressed last night, he was up most of the night so he stayed home again today, and now will be again tomorrow. I get a phone call from the school this morning saying JP had a fever of 101, so I had to pick him up. The bickering, the fighting, I did not have a relaxing day.

April will be here in a few.

I hope you all had a good day.

Goodnight, everyone.

Oh no! I hope both are doing better today!!! xx
