I still can't believe I forgot to get the taco soup going this morning!! Darnit! :lol: I was looking so forward to smelling that when I go home for lunch. Ha ha! Ah well - could be worse, right? :smile:

Last night I watched "The Nine Lives of Christmas" - such a cute movie, but I stayed up too late. Couldn't stop watching! Then I think I saw every hour overnight. Didn't sleep well & not sure why. Hate it when that happens. Coffee tastes yummy this morning!!!

The weather report says we got 3.5 to 4" of the white stuff overnight. Sure is pretty this morning!! The sun is trying to come out now. They are saying wind/drifting later today. Great... Brrrrrrr!!! We are currently at 10ºF!

Good morning, friends!! Just crawling in to bed! I had to stay a little late this morning at work, then it is snowing, so it took a little longer to get home. EA has a two-hour delay, so she doesn't have to be at school until 11.

I'm going to head to bed for a nap. DH put chili in the crockpot for dinner. It smells great! I'll ttyl!

Happy Epiphany, MMC!!!!!!! We had 3 inches of snow when I measured at 6am and we probably got another inch after that. So around 4 inches total. Luckily the heavy band set up just north of us so we avoided the 6 and 7 inch totals. It was a light and fluffy snow too so it wasn't to hard to shovel. Just time consuming because it goes every where when you try to push it. I've got everyone's cars cleaned off though and everything shoveled. So now it's time to relax. I hope everyone is having a GREAT DAY!!!!!!!!

Hey All- Hope you are having a great Tuesday!

It is cold here in CT and right now we are getting light snow not too much at all.

I stepped on the scale this morning...ugh!! I am going back to clean eating headed to the gym this afternoon. I need to get moving!

On a positive note Sounds of the Season is still playing holiday music so I am enjoying it while I work.

It's supposed to be easy peasy unless you forget to get it out of the fridge in the morning.....and then at lunch turn it to high & forget to turn it to low before you come back to work. Ho Hum!!!! LOL!!!!

Good evening!
Today was a good day, I had a few things to do around the house and I got it all done. I also ran to the outlets this afternoon to look for a new jacket. I found something that I liked but the pickings were slim. There will probably be bathing suits out in the stores soon. It was a chilly day to be walking around there but they still had Christmas music playing throughout the outlets and that made me very happy. The kitten had another vet appointment this morning, she's growing like a weed and gained another pound. She got a couple of immunizations and she seems a little bit off this evening. She's not hungry and doesn't feel like playing but hopefully she'll sleep it off and feel better tomorrow. That's about it for me, back to work tomorrow morning. Looking forward to it, I miss those little ones. I'll pop in tomorrow morning before I leave. Enjoy the rest of the evening! Goodnight!

First day back done, day off tomorrow, nothing like easing back into a routine. Nothing major planned for tomorrow, may run to Rite Aid to see if those lights are 75% off yet. Goodwill may get a visit also, now that a lot of people have un-decorated, maybe find some old Christmas treasures that someone doesn't want anymore.

Good morning!

It's a cold 19 degrees this morning and we are supposed to get about 3 inches of the powdery stuff this morning. So, I was out the door and off to an earlier than usual start this morning. I wanted to get on the road and get into the office before the snow started falling here this morning, I planned it just right. Just as I walked out of the house at 4:20, the first flakes started coming down. 35 miles later, the roads were just starting to turn white and I was here at the office; mission accomplished, safe and sound....:

I hope it doesn't cause to much disruption for you all. It must look so beautiful especially where you live. Have much of the wildlife been around now that it is winter?

We are freezing here. It has been below zero and in minus for a few days but today we have gone back up to about 4. No snow though. Lots of frost, rain and sheaths of ice but no snow.

We are expecting a bit of snow this afternoon. I would typically be super excited but now I have to worry about the girls driving in it. Wish we would have got some last week when everyone was on vacation!

Oh does it ever look so nice. I so desired a place to live where there was an abundant wildlife, woods, fields, some farm animals and hopefully a stream. And I was blessed to find such a place.

My property is adjacent to an undeveloped 100 acre tract of land to the right of me, a farm to the left and behind me. I have just about 4 acres, and at the back and one side of my property, I have a small stream that constantly flows from natural springs on the farm pasture behind me.

Since December, I have seen numerous deer, a flock of wild turkeys, 2 coyotes, rabbits, squirrels, and a lot of Blue jays. I can also hear an owl in the woods at night. Just last night, I walked down to the mailbox (with a flashlight in my hand) and when I got down there, I turned it on and jumped up 3 or 4 deer.

Whoa, that's cold....I always do say though, it's a just cause to do some snuggling.

Hmmmm, is there any correlation, that a severe cold winter, will cause a baby boom in late summer/ early fall????? :lol:

Sounds beautiful, Xmastidings! Even though I live in a city limit, I have wild life like that too! I only have 2 acres or so, but I love the wood setting and love when the deer come in to yard. We don't get the turkey here, but our neighbors have seen bear as we hear coyotes at times. Hoping they never come down off the upper mountain!
