BTW I just found last year's thread we had 63k posts...that means we only have 60k more or less to go....I think 2014 was the least I have posted here...but this year I am scheduled to be home all year so I will be around a lot more....

I can kind of see that - if we didn't have the game to look forward too tonight, this morning looked kind of bleak. It was Monday of the 2nd FULL week of work for the year -next holiday seems pretty far away....but alas (as xmas said) we have our great friends here to make every day a better day!!! :-D

Your exactly right...I am sooo glad I found this place..for so long I felt like I was the only one who went nuts for the holidays!

A guy takes the afternoon off to go babysit and you guys go crazy!!! LOL!!! The counselor canceled on my sister at the last minute. So we will try again next Monday. We were already out there so we hung around for a bit and caught up with my niece's. Now going to eat some dinner then will be back to catch up.

Good afternoon gang ... We had a 2 hour delay for work this morning due to slippery road conditions. By the time I left the house, the roads were not that bad a few slick spots here and there. Since I had extra time I stopped at Hallmark on my way into work and scored on a bunch of ornaments for our kids. I even picked up a few that I liked for the tree and a few more for gifts for extended family. Got to love 75% off sales!!!

We did take down all the outdoor Christmas decorations yesterday but left the snowman out and strung up snowflake lights across the front of the deck. We will keep them there until March.

Well my lunch break is almost over. Have a great day everyone.

That sounds so good! I cooked sautéed mushrooms and steak and cleaned the house really good for the wife when she comes home I hope she's proud and hungry....she should be home anytime now!

That's why I want to get out of here and go to the office, since I've been here today, Lisa's been chasing me around the house......:-D

Well, to be a little more descriptive, Lisa has been chasing me around the house to vacuum, help her decorate the house, hang pictures, finish the laundry, make the bed....I need to go to work to get some rest~ LOL!!!!!:lol:

Ok, got the truck that was stuck in my driveway out, I got out myself for the first time today and I went up to home depot to get salt for my water softener and some for the driveway and pad outside. I got the spreader out and put a 40lb bag inside it and went to town. It's got a good coating on it now. Hopefully, that will prevent the re=freeze on it tonight, like all the weather stations are predicting...

Well, I guess it's a foregone conclusion that It's pretty much, pointless to go to work at this time of the day, I didn't want to do that, but, what else could I of have done.

I think Zach is going to stay home tonight and not go to work as well because he worried about getting out of work sometime between 11 and 1 am, and the roads (especially the back roads), will be bad and something happens (in a bad way) to his new WRX~

Hoping you guys don't get the re-freeze either! Stay safe out there!

I'm going to head to Mom & Dads...Mom is making my nephew an afghan & she ran out of yarn with 2 rows to go! I just happen to have the color she needs, so I'll run that over there so she can crochet while watching the BUCKS tonight!! Hubby is on his way home, so I'm not sure if I'll be back around here tonight or not. If not....have a SUPER GREAT night everyone!!!!
