I'm going to head to Mom & Dads...Mom is making my nephew an afghan & she ran out of yarn with 2 rows to go! I just happen to have the color she needs, so I'll run that over there so she can crochet while watching the BUCKS tonight!! Hubby is on his way home, so I'm not sure if I'll be back around here tonight or not. If not....have a SUPER GREAT night everyone!!!!

Good afternoon gang ... We had a 2 hour delay for work this morning due to slippery road conditions. By the time I left the house, the roads were not that bad a few slick spots here and there. Since I had extra time I stopped at Hallmark on my way into work and scored on a bunch of ornaments for our kids. I even picked up a few that I liked for the tree and a few more for gifts for extended family. Got to love 75% off sales!!!

We did take down all the outdoor Christmas decorations yesterday but left the snowman out and strung up snowflake lights across the front of the deck. We will keep them there until March.

Well my lunch break is almost over. Have a great day everyone.

My team is Notre Dame so no rooting interest, will just watch the game to enjoy it. Also for movie fans there is a Avengers Ultron sneak peak during the game. Also looking forward to that.

Ok, got the truck that was stuck in my driveway out, I got out myself for the first time today and I went up to home depot to get salt for my water softener and some for the driveway and pad outside. I got the spreader out and put a 40lb bag inside it and went to town. It's got a good coating on it now. Hopefully, that will prevent the re=freeze on it tonight, like all the weather stations are predicting...

Well, I guess it's a foregone conclusion that It's pretty much, pointless to go to work at this time of the day, I didn't want to do that, but, what else could I of have done.

I think Zach is going to stay home tonight and not go to work as well because he worried about getting out of work sometime between 11 and 1 am, and the roads (especially the back roads), will be bad and something happens (in a bad way) to his new WRX~

Glad they got the truck out and were able to get out and get the salt!! Hope things don't freeze back up tonight!!! Zach is making a good choice!! Enjoy the rest of your evening!!!

You know, here I am, just sitting here, typing away and laughing at myself and sometimes a person will not know exactly what they type until they actually post it. It's like, ok, it sounds great in your head, you type it out and then you post it....

And then when you re-read your own post, you go OMG!!! I just typed that????

Remember that I use to be a mechanic and worked with shops at Autozone. Add on top of that all of my years in boy scouts and lets just say that i can make a sailor blush. LOL!!!!

Dinner tonight was baked ham, twice baked potatoes topped with melted cheese and steamed broccoli. And at present, My tummy is feeling mighty comfortable and good!!

.....I didn't have any salt here at the house for that situation, I went down to the basement and dug 2 small buckets full of salt from out of the inside of the water softener....
