I know this is fast...we just lost Happy. But my uncle has a dog he adored but his daughter is highly allergic to her. So he had to find her a good home, and wanted her to stay in the family. So, meet Kimmie...


She's an Australian Shepherd and is a sweetheart! She's ready to claim her spot in the MMC Pantheon of Pets.

You know I was thinking the same thing myself. I like to keep my stuff up longer than most folks, but I don't think I will leave mine up through the whole winter, last year I remember taking my stuff down on MLK weekend or the weekend after, so I may take my stuff down this weekend or the next week, either way I hate taking it down but it must be done!

I agree ~ I never look forward to taking it down. I love the lights on at night. I could leave it up awhile longer yet ~ I'm surprised my hubby hasn't asked about when it's coming down yet! Once Friday rolls around, if it's not already down, I will be saying "Oh, I'm just going to enjoy it ONE MORE WEEKEND" cheesy I will have to dig out my snowmen from the attic & put them out!

I am sorry as well to hear about your pet happy...I had to put my dog pookie to sleep a few years ago and she was my first pet to have since I was 18, me and that dog went through moving a few times one marriage one divorce and a few live in gf's in between, it was sooo hard doing it, but like you I knew her quality of life was gone...just wanted to tell you that I hope you feel better soon and happy is up in heaven playing around with the other animals that just arrived up there too... and good luck with the job interview, I hope everything works out the way you would like!

Evening all , although most of you are at the start of your day. I am just thawing out from the school run. Luckily the ice melted in most places, it was really slippery on the walk this morning.
Going to prepare a vegetarian lasagne, avocado salad and some garlic bread for dinner. I'll probably pop in while I am cooking.

Hope you day is turning out to be a good one.

Very true and as I am ahead, it's almost over for me which means it's almost Thursday

It's SO gray and cold today. I'm at my workplace like a good girl, but where I really want to be is in some fuzzy sweats under a cozy afghan on the sofa with some good video and some hot tea! I must get rid of that daydream before the jobs start hitting my desk!

Add some cake into that fantasy and that would a perfect relaxing day lol!
