Christmas Countdown - 2015

I had my Dr appt this morning, and like I thought I am dealing with a bad case of the flu. My doctor doesn't even want me to head back to work until next week since he says I am still contagious.
I called work to keep them in the loop and I hear one of my bosses carrying on the background fake coughing and laughing while another one is telling him a lot of people have been out for the same reason. They are so professional there, this guy in particular is the biggest #&**@++. I have reported him for his lack of professionalism multiple occasions. I really need to get out of there, even while I am out sick they tick me off big time.

I finally tried TheraFlu, and yuck!!! I feel better after taking but I really didn't like the flavor.

I have 4 more days off before I can head back to work, so maybe I can apply at a lot of new places.

I will be around, resting.

It sounds like your management got to where they are buy kissing !@# than by their professionalism. I'll be praying that you can find something different soon, Xmas!!!

GOod afernoone mmc! TGIF! Work is kind of busy with extra paperwork, BUT I am glad this weekend is almost here! temps are in the upper 30's, next week we may see some snow, THe winter is marching on and before you know it it will be Feb! I hope everyone is doing good and for those that are sick ,, hang in there! TTYL I have a lot to catch up on, but I will try to check in later!

That is exactly why he still has a job, he is a professional 2 lips to 2 cheeks kisser. I have not been the only one to report him, he has said some horrible things about other employees just because he doesn't like the way they look, or they are too "large" in his opinion. He is just an absolute miserable human being and he likes to treat anyone under him like dirt. But kiss butt to his superiors like it's nobody's business.

I know the type!!! My last manager was one of them too. His first day at the store he called payroll to give everyone's wages and put X's next to all of us that had there the longest and were making the most. He then did all he could to run us off. Every time someone would quit, he would say oh well, my payroll just went down and my bonus just went up.

Got to love what people do when they get an extra word in their title, we are all there to do the same job, but they will step on the ones who help them the most.

Good Evening Christmas Friends!

TGIF! And a 3 day weekend. Work was crazy this week so I am looking forward to some down time. My 12 y/o daughter has been out of school since Tues and we went to the Dr yesterday. She has an ear infection and bronchitis so she is on antibiotics for 10 days. We picked up her homework today and you would not believe the stack of papers so I know what we will be working on this weekend!
Hope everyone that is sick is feeling better soon!

Sorry to hear that your daughter has an ear infection and bronchitis. Hope the antibiotics kick in quickly & give her some relief. Keeping her in my prayers.

Good evening MMC !!

A beautiful sunny day here today, aired out the house and just relaxed with my foot up.

Got a call from workman comp and I was approved for payment of lost wages and all medical expenses. So happy for that.
It is going to be awhile to get this healed up and I will be having physio as well when air cast comes off. Got another dr appointment for the 27th

Hope you are all doing well, so many posts finding it impossible to catch up. Seems even with time off I cannot hang out here half as much as you all, but sure would love to !!

Glad you got approved for Workman's comp, Star!!!!! Hope that relieve's a lot of stress off of you and that you can just concentrate on getting healthy now!!
