Christmas Countdown - 2015

Soooo tonight I decide to make meatloaf for supper! Haven't made that for probably 2 years or more!!! My hubby normally gets home from work around 7:30. After work I take Gracie for a walk...



Yes she got another bath:









I get home from our walk & hubby texts that he's on his way home!! REALLY??? He was home by 6:10 & the meatloaf wasn't even in the oven yet...has to bake 1 1/2 to 1 3/4 hrs! Geez! I really think he does that on purpose. Seems like every time I make something that has to bake a long while, he comes home early! cheesy MEN!!! :lol:

Made, praying for your mom and that they can come up with a way to prevent these from happening again.

It has been a quiet day here. I figured out finally that if I keep taking my pain meds when I should I do fairly well. I stopped taking them because I hate taking meds and thought I would be fine. Once I started taking them again I was.

Supervisor called today to see if I had my schedule and to see how I was doing. It is nice to work someplace where they are actually concerned about the people who work there.

It was a very nice sunny day here and will be much the same for the rest of the week. Going to enjoy that!

Keep following their advice! cheesy Our neighbor who is a nurse always says too many people are reluctant to take their meds, but when it's needed, it's important to stay on top of the pain! Never let the pain start, take the meds (as directed) before the pain! That's great that work is checking on you. Are you going to try 4 hours tomorrow?? Good luck!

Thank you snowflake! I will! My sister offered to spend the night there tonight ~ we'll see how that goes over! :lol: (I have a feeling it won't happen - will just aggravate my papa) I offered to take him to his appointment tomorrow & that caused a lot of grumbling! LOL! Stubborn ol goat!!)

Home from the hospital. Mom was doing pretty good when I left. Still really weak and face drooping some. Was mad that they wouldn't let her eat or drink anything when she got up to her room when she had been drinking down in the ER. Finally got some ice chips when I left. Hopefully by breakfast they lift that restriction.

Was mad that they wouldn't let her eat or drink anything when she got up to her room when she had been drinking down in the ER. Finally got some ice chips when I left. Hopefully by breakfast they lift that restriction.

Glad to hear she was doing pretty well when you left, buddy.

Hope she can eat again sooner than later!
