Gosh, here we are talking about July and there are some homes near me that still have their Christmas lights up and lit yet.....Wow! Like to know what their electric bill is going to be.......

I saw 3 on the way home from the Hospital tonight. Made me smile!!!

Hope everyone is have a pleasant evening. Lisa and I took a road trip tonight and we stopped at a local feed store and got some food and chew toys for the rabbits. And then we stopped at a Joann fabrics and crafts store, Lisa wanted to look for some fake flowers and while I was there, I started browsing the 90% off isle for all the Christmas stuff that they had marked down. I picked up some really good stuff, bows, self adhesive tags, ribbon and such...

You know while I was there, and this may sound like I live in a closet or something, but I was totally blown away by all the craft stuff they had there. You would not believe in just how many different colors of Glitter alone they have....I mean, that stuff must come in 50 different colors now!
I was also amazed by this, did you know, you can buy crayons in packs of over a 100+ now!!!! I was serious thinking about buying some, just to see what they looked like.

Ohhhhh, I did find this little bit of information out from the sales clerk, that there is a Hobby Lobby, in Hanover Pennsylvania. That like 35 minutes from where I live! I know where I'm heading to next......

Ohhhh, when I was little we used to go to the S&H Green Stamps store in Hanover, then eat lunch at a Roy Rogers! When I was in high school, I used to drive up there to Menchey Music and buy medleys from Broadway shows to play on the piano. It's also the birthplace of Utz potato chips. Lots of good memories of Hanover! It was about a 45 minute drive from where I lived. We bought three of my favorite Christmas albums from a Grant's store up there when I was little.

Ohhhh, when I was little we used to go to the S&H Green Stamps store in Hanover, then eat lunch at a Roy Rogers! When I was in high school, I used to drive up there to Menchey Music and buy medleys from Broadway shows to play on the piano. It's also the birthplace of Utz potato chips. Lots of good memories of Hanover! It was about a 45 minute drive from where I lived. We bought three of my favorite Christmas albums from a Grant's store up there when I was little.

Wow, Roy Rogers. I use to work next door to one in the 90's. That is the last one I remember seeing in these parts. Good hamburgers.
Isn't Hanover also known for pretzels?

I think the time has come for me to wind down and head to sleep. Just watching the last 8 minutes of the Bruins game.
I am heading back to work tomorrow, I really don't want to go back. I feel like I let everyone down by missing the last week, and heading back feeling less than 100% isn't helping, I will make it as far as I can. It is the fatigue that will get me, as it has been by doing remedial things around the house.

Thanks sugar! Doc thinks he has a pinched nerve somewhere in his back. More tests tomorrow & then a follow up on Friday. Doc says he is at a high risk of fall, so he needs to use a walker & not get up any more than needed. No treadmill, nothing. Can't make our chicken (which I think that bothers him the most - lol)

Home from the hospital. Mom was doing pretty good when I left. Still really weak and face drooping some. Was mad that they wouldn't let her eat or drink anything when she got up to her room when she had been drinking down in the ER. Finally got some ice chips when I left. Hopefully by breakfast they lift that restriction.

Glad to hear mom was doing better. That is pretty stupid about the dietary restriction. They should have had her nothing by mouth in the ED, especially until they knew what was going on or at least until they had her pass a swallowing test. Dumb! Lol...oh well. Hopefully the doctor changes her diet in the AM.

I just saw that they issued a Winter Weather Advisory for my area for snow. They are presently saying 2-4 inches starting around 6 am tomorrow. Looks like I'm going to try to get a jump on it and get out of the house early again tomorrow morning.

I put a 40lb bag of salt all over the driveway yesterday, so hopefully, that will prevent the snow from sticking to it, once it starts falling.

Be safe out there! Our area is supposed to get 1-3, possibly 3-5. My county is just at the tip of 3-5, which where I live, I'm in at the tip and we always get more, living down in a valley. Have a safe drive to work!
