Good Saturday afternoon, my Christmas friends!

I went to a funeral this morning, then out to lunch with a group of HS buddies I haven't seen in at least 20 years. We had such a good time, but I felt bad about the circumstances.

When I got home, Nancy had most of the Christmas decorations put away. I took the tree outside and now the house is back to normal. Ready for November to do it all again!

I went to a funeral this morning, then out to lunch with a group of HS buddies I haven't seen in at least 20 years. We had such a good time, but I felt bad about the circumstances.

When I got home, Nancy had most of the Christmas decorations put away. I took the tree outside and now the house is back to normal. Ready for November to do it all again!

Happy Saturday night everyone! It's cold out there!! it's about 30F in my backyard, suppose to get down to around 20, but still no snow in the forecast..time is running out...I always remember that after feb 10th you are fighting the sun angle! it's all about the sun angle.lol oh well have a great evening everyone...we are staying in and just being lazy..that is what the weekend is all about right!

I have been up early with Isaac. He has been throwing up and has a slight fever. I won't be doing much today other than taking care of my family and hoping they all get well soon.

Good morning!
We got a few inches of snow over night but it looks like it's now turned over to rain. The roads are a slushy mess. It's supposed to turn back over to snow at some point. My youngest has a class this morning so I'm a nervous wreck about her driving. I think I'm going to head outside to start shoveling the backyard for the dogs and then the driveway and cars. Not too much going on for me today, I'm going to work on some more of those online courses for work and make a pot of chicken soup for dinner. Should be an easy day, fingers crossed. I have been beyond tired lately. The past two nights I got in to bed and had every intention of reading through the daily posts. But I ended up falling asleep with my phone in my hand the minute my head hit the pillow. I must be getting old!

I just heard the first snowfall prediction for this area starting tomorrow night - 6+ inches....Now, that's what I'm talking about!!!! Bring on the powder~ Now let's see if they screw up this forecast as well....

Just been doing all sorts of odds and ends in the house all night. I went downstairs to the basement and I had like three boxes of school supplies and so I called a guy I worked with, his wife is a school teacher here with the public schools, well they have to spend their own money for supplies for the classroom. Anyway, I called him up and asked him if is wife would be interested in having them. So, I going to donate all the supplies to the her and her 3rd grade class.

I'm done for the night, time to relax, so I'm going to make myself a vanilla milkshake, sit back and watch cut throat kitchen in front of the fireplace.
