We have been watching the estimates go up all day, when I got up this morning the predictions were for 12-14 inches, now they are up to 18-24 inches. Were still 28 hours or so from it beginning. We are both nervous about it since my wife has meetings nearly 40 miles away, and I have a year ending inventory.

It all depends what nature has planned before we make a judgement.

Keeping you guys in my thoughts & prayers.

Morning folks. Ahhhhh, coffee first thing in the morning; it is the essence of life~

Awoke to a very overcast morning, hmmmm, that was not supposed to be that way = pondering.... Have to check what the weather sites have to say, to see what's cooking in the atmosphere....

A winter weather warning is emanate. It looks like they are calling for 6 - 12 inches of the powder in these parts and it does appear from the map, that the storm that Merry and HMG will get, it originates right around Maryland....

I'm sending up you a winter wonderland gift for you lovely ladies! Oh and you too xmas...

I thinking a Home depot trip is in store for this morning.... Nothing like a Home Depot run first thing in the morning to get your testosterone levels up!!!

I was in the mood for something a little different this morning. So, I grabbed a bowl poured some Captain Crunch in the bottom of it, then put in a layer of Frosted Flakes and then topped it with some cinnamon crunch Kashi cereal.... All that sugar first thing this morning...But, I used no-fat milk!!!!:-D

The cereal triple threat!!! The milk makes it not count. Awesome!!! What type of Cap'n Crunch was it?

I wasn't much better, I had 2 maple bacon donuts for breakfast. Just tried them yesterday, and yes it is true. Bacon makes everything better.

Your not going to believe this, but on the weather channel, they just said that some parts of New England, could see over 24 inches of snowfall from this storm, plus high winds. They said that a Blizzard warnings could be issued..... Whoa - that's intense....

This is going to be a fun one, in 2011 we had a storm that dropped 32 inches on us.

it is important to look after your family first, they are more precious than anything else in your life. They need you more than your boss does, never ever feel guilty about that.
Keep being a wonderful wife and mom ((((HUGS))))

Amen to that!

Good afternoon,

Sitting here watching "Elf." It is on Mtv right now, I think this is the first time in years I have willingly put MTV on. I went out and picked up my Santas I ordered from KMart, $5 each was well spent. They are both beautiful, the picture I posted from the site doesn't do it any justice. I will post a picture of both when I get a chance.

I am being lazy, I need to fix the electric fireplace, I think the fan just needs to be cleaned out, especially with how many 4 legged furballs we have here.

It is pizza night!!! So I can't wait for dinner.

Talk to you all soon.

Merry Sunday!

I didn't go into work today. Isaac was pretty ill through the night. He is doing good at the moment though but it seems to come in intervals.

I feel really guilty about not going to work , I have not had a sick day in almost two years. However , I couldn't leave the house knowing they are not well especially my youngest. Mr Festive isn't well either so he would struggle on his own with both kids.

I hope you all are having an easy sunday. I think I will pop a film on now ...

Sending hugs, prayers and get well wishes ~

Stay safe in the snow xmastidings! They are now calling for 12-24 inches here on Long Island.

Good Morning, MMC!!!!!! It's going to be a chilly snowy day here in Central Indy with a couple of inches expected by tomorrow morning. Nothing to big on my agenda for today. Just going to watch the ending of the 24 hours of Daytona and get some more work done around the apartment. I don't know how it gets so dirty so quick. LOL!!!! I hope everyone is having a GREAT DAY!!!!!!!

Happy Rudolph Day!!!!!!!!

Hope the grocery store isn't crazy and that you have a great time at your parents!!! Have a wonderful day, HMG!!!!

Thanks Made! I hope you're having a great day as well!!!

Wow...11 months until Christmas!

I hope y'all have a great Sunday.

Happy Sunday Ryan!

Good Sunday morning (and Happy Rudy Day!!), my Christmas friends!

As other have mentioned, we're exactly one month in, eleven to go till the big day again! Actually, only seven months from now we'll be very close to celebrating the start of the 'Bers again!

Elizabeth got home from her overnight trip with the church youth group to snow tube at Stone Mountain, GA. She says she had a great time, but I'm glad she's home!

Nancy stayed with her mother last night, but I hope she'll be home in a couple hours. Then we'll go out to my mom's for lunch.

I hope y'all have a great day!

I'm glad Elizabeth had a great time! Hope you have a great day Brad!

I think you're being too generous with your "gift"! This morning the radio is saying "historic storm … one to two feet, maybe more …" and the bulk of the storm is still two days away!

I have a Tuesday morning appointment that I will have to reschedule. I will probably be on hold for quite a while when I call them tomorrow.

Happily, the little storm yesterday made us think of updating our "blizzard box" with fresh non-refrigerated food, so we will be a little ahead of the curve. As HMG said, the stores will probably be full of panic-buyers tomorrow.

The news here is saying the same thing, "potentially historic snow storm".
Stay safe MerryCarey!

hope you get it all done in time, have a wonderful visit!

Thanks Star!!!

Good morning, friends! Just crawling into bed. I ended up working 12 hours. Hoping I can catch a little nap here, then I will get back up and try not to waste the day away, since it is my day off.

We're gearing up for another storm. They're now calling for 4-8 inches overnjght, then 1-3 tomorrow. We'll see! I'll be back later! Hope you all have a great day!

Rest well Sugar! Stay safe in the snow!

I hope you beat the crowds, I am sure the stores were going to be crazy, especially with the word blizzard being thrown around.

The stores are absolutely crazy. People are going to panic when the news says the storm is going to be "crippling".

This is going to be a fun one, in 2011 we had a storm that dropped 32 inches on us.

Ours is similar to that, except it's now a blizzard warning.
