Just got word that my Dad fell again. UGH! My sister is going to the pharmacy to get him a wheel chair. Ugh Ugh UGH!

Good news is my niece (my Goddaughter) is expecting again! #3

Good morning mmc friends! It's been a very hectic morning thus far, I am taking care of old hospital bills the insurance will not pay..ugh!!!! but at least I have this website giving me cheer cause lord knows I need it!! Like I said in my above post I did find out just this morning at 630 am!! that my bro and his wife are expecting again,,,due date is October 1st, so the baby will come right at the beginning of the greatest season of the year! I hope everyone is prepared for snowmogeddon 2015!! really the media is going crazy about this storm...up to 2 to 3 feet for boston and NYC! it seems like boston and other northeast cities gets all their snow at once! stay safe merrycarey and xmas!!

Thanks everyone for the thoughts & prayers for Dad. I just hope there is a solution for him, other than an invasive surgery. At 87, that would not be easy for him to withstand! It's hard to see him losing his walking independence! Hopefully it's temporary & they can whip him back into shape! xx

Hey be careful Merrycarey! I will be thinking about yall tonight and tomorrow, I must say I am jealous I love tracking winter storms, but I know they can be a pain to actually live through!

Thanks, y'all! I'm at home now and will be working from home the rest of today, tomorrow, and maybe Wednesday. Once Mr. gets back from the post office we'll be hunkered down for the duration.

Dawg, this one doesn't sound like it'll be much fun. I don't mind a big snowstorm if I can work from home, but if there's a good chance of losing power, as there is with this storm, it worries me. We don't have heat without electricity, so I'm going to keep the thermostat a little higher upstairs and down for the duration just in case.

It's nasty here.
But nothing crazy accumulation wise, just snowy & icy out.
I missed my exit & went off my lane on the highway this morning. It was scary.
Thank God I stopped before heading into the ditch.

Good afternoon all! There is still snowing falling around these parts, but it's more like snow showers. I think we would be lucky, if we had 1 inch of snow on the ground so far, out of this big hoopla they keep talking up on the Weather Channel! What a big flop-a-lousa!!!!!

Well, been working from home all morning (Via - remote log-in), and I guess we are going to take Vicki back to school real soon. Her classes have been cancelled for today (scheduled 1st day back), but we are going to move her back into the dorm today anyhow,so that she has time to unpack, get organized, etc....

So, what's everyones snowfall amount so far? Why I ask, first and foremost, because I care about you all and second, I'm jealous....

Have a safe trip taking Vicki back to school!! I hope she has a great spring semester!!!!!

Well, work just called and asked me to be on call from 7-11 pm tonight and then I work my regular shift. Obviously if they need me, they call me in. I agreed to it, but keeping my fingers crossed that I just get to go in at 11.

Finally got mom to call the lawyer a little bit ago and they are sending some here to meet with her in the morning to go over everything. Which I'm happy about that. Wasn't looking forward to having to drive downtown and finding somewhere to park to go to their office. So I will probably be late getting on here tomorrow.

just getting to work and checked my mail...ho hum kind of day I am having, I did get my weekly TIME magazine so I can read that while I am not busy. The end of the month paper work comes later in the week, I should get a head up with that, BUT I am the worst at getting started with things like that..Hope everyone is having a great afternoon!
