Hey sugar! Do you live in the high elevations of pa? I have never been to pa, but I have spent a ton of time in the Alleghany mountains of west Virginia, and it snows almost 200 inches per winter, more than here actually, All the pics I have seen of rural Pa really remind me of the small town and villages in west Virginia, I have a dream to retire there and have a mountain home.
Hey Sugar! We are getting some kind of slop mess falling outside right now around here as well. It looks like a combination of snow, sleet and ice... It started when I was about 5 miles from home, by the drive I got to my driveway, I started to slide as I got to the end, but by that time, I was home. It's still coming down, we got about an inch of the stuff so far.
I saw on Justinweather.com and Footsforecast, they are now starting to talk it up a bit about another possible Nor'easter for this coming Sunday into Monday. Knowing our luck, it will miss us and slam New England again. I guess you can tell that I want a really big snow to park itself right above Westminster.... I want to go play out in it, on my tractor.....
Glad to hear you made it home safely! Some parts of our area is seeing that mess too, but so far, we're seeing the snow.

Good evening. I thought I'd do a quick check on things before dinner, we are having Baked Chicken breast fillets; breaded, Pasta with bacon and cheese and broccoli. Just talking about that, is making my tummy growl. We are planning on a pretty low key night, the only thing, that I know that I have to do, is to help Lisa re-arrange Victoria's bedroom - Move furniture around.
But after that, I plan to just kick back and see what's on the tube or as it was called when I was a kid and someone was trying to talk to me while the TV was on, The Zombie Box....:lol:

I saw a post earlier about the PCB's. I thought that I was ok and that I was not going to get hit with them this year. Mannnn, they showed up today, and they ended up, really biting me hard in the backsides today.... I feel like Eyeore at the moment, "someone stepped on my tail today......"
I don't know, maybe it was brought on because I thought it was Friday when I woke up and when I got to work, I was told it was Thursday instead... Totally bummed me out!!!! Tried to Listen to Christmas music at work but I was being constantly interrupted, all day long. I need a major snow, a hug and a cup of Hot chocolate (with miniature marshmallows)....
Hopefully a good nights rest and with tomorrow being Friday for real will make me feel better....

Yes, actually, I do love within the mountains, but not the higher elevations. I just have them surrounding me. I do sit down in a little valley and we're not far from going up into the mountains, so we do get a larger snowfall here, when they are calling for snow. There is a nice ski resort - Blue Knob, that is pretty popular. It's only 25 miles away from me. The elevation there is 3, 172 feet. It's the highest of any ski resort in PA. Rural PA is beautiful!

Thank you! I work tonight and then will be off tomorrow. I may have to do 12 hours, but won't know until tomorrow morning, depends on the staff we have. It's supposed to be busy tomorrow!
